I cannot speak highly enough of Jacob Huizinga and the entire team at Club Champion. I’ve not only been there one time, but five times for myself and my two kids who play tournament golf at a very high level.

From the moment we walked in, Jacob made us feel like VIPs. He not only did an incredible job fitting me for my clubs, customizing them to my exact specifications, but he also incorporated the colors of my high school Alma mater into the design from the paint fill, to the ferrules, to the shaft and grip it all was in my school White and Blue! The attention to detail was outstanding!

But Jacob didn't stop there. He took the same meticulous care with my son's set, creating a completely personalized experience. Again, matching his exact fit for his needs and then customizing the look so that he has a one of a kind look that no one else in the world has! His scores improved as a result. The custom colors and Star Wars-themed wedges blew us away. My son couldn't have been happier!

We were so impressed that we returned for another fitting for my 11-year-old daughter. Jacob was patient and thorough, explaining everything to her in a way that made her feel confident and excited. She picked up 10 yards on her irons and instantly her wedge game improved by 4-5 shots a round. Since she is a younger player, he even let her demo a top of the line driver on a long term basis just so she gets used to the weight of a heavier club before actually fitting her for her final gamer! I couldn’t believe his generosity in doing this. He designed her clubs with custom colors and added sprinkles and her name to the back of her wedges to make them uniquely hers. The result was nothing short of one-of-a-kind.

I had a fitting here on January 15th while on holiday in Orlando. During the booking process and on arrival I made it very clear this was a fitting only as I have access to a Mizuno account via my home club back in the UK.

On arrival I made the point again to the fitter that the clubs would be built in the UK and NOT in the US by Club Champion or anyone else. He proceeded with the fitting having full knowledge of where these irons would be built.

The fitting was first class and very beneficial but I was fitted for a custom shaft with very limited availability and isn’t currently available to Mizuno in Europe or US. This is only available if I were to purchase via Club Champion…….

I was so clear on multiple occasions that these clubs would be built by Mizuno in Europe that I didn’t think I’d have to check the shaft availability before leaving the fitting season. I found this out 24 hours later having sent the build specs to Mizuno UK as a firm order that same are not available.

An ASM from Club Champion did reach out and offered another fit but due to time constraints I had to decline opting for a full refund of $175 but this email is yet to be replied to and no refund has been forthcoming.

All in all a very poor experience and just so much hassle trying to get a refund which is more than fair in my opinion.

Impressive Tour Pro level fitting services provided by master fitters, Jonathan and Tim, at Club Champion Orlando.

I started with an iron fitting last year and loved the results so I returned to get fitted for the rest of the bag. Their facility is stacked with a dizzying selection of club heads and shafts. If you are a gearhead, you will feel like a kid in a candy store.

Their fitting process is fun, methodical, and exhaustive, but you can be sure that you have been fitted with the best combination of equipment for your swing. These aren't educated guesses. The proof is in the multitude of data points captured by Trackman. Jonathan and Tim are very knowledgeable and will explain what the numbers mean and show how a little tuning can go a long way. These guys aren't trying to change your swing. They are building you gear that will compliment it. The data from the putting fitting was especially eye-opening.

I recently returned to see Jonathan and Tim after some swing changes and they got me swinging on the simulator and made some adjustments to the clubs to maximize the performance of my new swing. Again, the proof was in the data. After their adjustments, there were marked improvements in shot shape, distance, and dispersion.
