Terrible experience. It was still a couple hours before closing, and the restaurant was empty. The only woman working made it very clear that she didn't want any more customers that evening. Tried to make small talk and empathize with someone who'd had a bad day. Apparently, an employee called in, and as manager she was required to cover the store open to close. Said she'd already clocked 55hrs (just three days into the week) and had another five days to go. She said the franchise owner didn't care.
Anyway - a sour attitude sucks, but the meal wasn't any better. All there was in the veggie trays were frozen tomatoes, wilted lettuce and some cucumbers. Everything else was gone. I choose Subway because I love the fresh vegetables - there were literally none to have that day. No pickles, no banana peppers, no onions, etc. She ran out of mayo making the sandwich, huffed to the back and then put so much on that I had to spoon it off once I got home (1/2 cup?). Crazy.
I should've walked away since I wasn't welcome, and I wasn't going to get a real sandwich. But I politely paid, tipped and left.
Not sure what the fix is - better communication between leadership? Better training? More robust staffing? I don't know - but this was a poor example of what Subway...
Read moreTerrible customer experience. The manager Rebecca has an incredible attitude problem that needs to be tamed when dealing with customers. Very unprofessional. When I picked up my food and there was no avacado they were in knowledge that they ran out and i I had to come back inside to get it because they hadn’t told me when I came. Keep in mind the resteraunt was completely empty there were no distractions. and when I asked for a refund she immediately started having an attitude and making excuses. Is it wrong for me to ask for something I paid for but didn’t receive due to you not letting me know ? No matter what. If you are in knowledge that you are out of an item that costed the customer 5 extra dollars. You tell them. It honestly seemed like they were trying to rob me by keeping it a secret. So terrible. Please double check your orders and get a refund for what you don’t get. They will try to rip you off and in this economy people can’t be stealing anything even if it’s 1 dollars things are too expensive these days. I highly advise you go to a different subway and if you do to this one good luck with Rebecca and her attitude problem 😅 CHECK...
Read moreAttempted to get dinner at this Subway, had my entire meal and went over to pour out a Fanta Orange from their machine but there was black stuff all in the cup. I thought maybe it was on the lid or cup, so I showed it the guy behind the counter and I asked for another cup. I inspected both cup and lid, all good. I poured out another cup from their soda fountain, just to have the same black stuff come out and realize it was coming from the soda fountain itself. I waited patiently while the employee helped a large family with their order. Then showed him the cup and asked if I could get a refund on my drink. I was told that wasn't possible, they'd have to return my entire order. I asked why that was for just their drink machine being dirty. They said there was no other way. So they took my receipt and did the return, and took my entire meal back from me, which seemed quite ridiculous. I called the supervisor listed on the receipt, Krystal Palma-Leblanc, while I was there but they weren't available and I had to leave a voicemail. I even texted the photos to them. I haven't...
