I was the second person in line for popcorn. I waited for 15 minutes to not be helped because only one register was open yet another person was walking around to other registers checking things on the computer. The people in front of me ordered hotdogs so the cashier had to walk away to assist them, this left the register unoccupied which isn't great customer service.
Movies like Eighth Grade, Leave No Trace, Blindspotting and other movies with high approval ratings are not coming to your theater. More variety in movies will help with attendance increasing. Please get these types of highly reviewed movies more often.
I used my MoviePass to get in which saved me money that I could've used for food or drink but again nobody was there to help me at the register. AMC loses money by not caring about the consumer. MoviePass helps theaters earn more money so instead of your stupid A List program that is too expensive. AMC should partner with MoviePass. The theater still gets its ticket money with MoviePass users and then the money people save this way goes towards food which is how the theater earns the majority of their profits.
This post might not change the movie theater culture but it might give one person a new perspective and that's a start to a change that needs to happen. Change has to...

They don't bother to schedule their ticket desk employees according to the expected rate of traffic. If it's anywhere near the showtime for something that a lot of people want to see, expect a long line that moves very slowly & only 2 people at a ticket desk that has enough stations for 4.
If you're seeing an evening show on a weekday, expect the concessions stand to be about to close when you get there, and to have only one person at the counter to take everyone's orders.
The shape of the seats hurts my back -- I could swear they were designed for overweight people with bad posture.
I've also caught this place blowing cold air into the screening rooms on nights when the outdoor temperature was below zero. Wound up having to get into a freezing cold car while already chilled to the bone from sitting in the theater.
And their weekday showtimes almost completely overlap with my not-traditional-office-hours work schedule, so that I can't go see movies after I get off work (short of it being the last show of the night, and having to rush there straight from work & have concessions for dinner). So I pretty much have to wait until the weekend to...
Read moretoday me and my boyfriend wanted to go see IT on our one year anniversary. we had got declined the first time by this guy who was not very respectful. keep in mind i had my ID on me and the guy said you are still not old enough to take your guest to the movie. because my boyfriend had forgotten his ID. so we walked out and came back in deciding to watch fast and furious instead. my boyfriend decided to leave that theater and go into IT. i did not follow but about 30 minutes after i get a call from him saying that one of the workers allowed us to go in. after talking to the worker we walked into the theater. i made my boyfriend buy us $21 worth of snacks (which is completely overpriced to begin with for a medium popcorn a slushee and some milkduds) while my boyfriend was down there the same guy that we tried getting into the IT theater before came and kicked me out. he was not respectful about it at all and could have handled the situation better. so after getting told we could go in that theater and spending over 35$ at that place (snacks and tickets) we get kicked out for not having our IDs. and i’ll say it again, we got kicked out in a very...
