EDIT3:chair was supposed to be delivered on the 26th. No one showed up. I get a call from FurtitureMart 20 minutes before the end of the time frame they gave me and apparently the delivery truck wouldn't start so they were not coming. I brought the chair back the next day and got a refund. Not dealing with this anymore.
EDIT2: Received my replacement chair due to the scuff marks on the back of the one that I first received. Come to find out, when we moved the chair to replace it there was a bolt that had come loose from the chair as well. This one has a slice along the bottom of the footrest. They said there will be another one coming and delivered on the 26th. We'll see how this one turns out. I am extremely unhappy with this chair and will not be purchasing from them again.
EDIT: I got my chair on January 2nd, as informed. Jeremy rented a uhaul and delivered it to my house. There was a couple of small nicks in the leather on the side/back of the chair they Jeremy said he would call the customer service and inform them of. I received a call from them yesterday January 9th and they are sending out someone, with the part, to replace it on January 18th. I bumped up the star rating to 3. I'd buy from again down the road. Would look other places as well.
Still no chair! I went into the Dubuque IA store on December 22nd. I informed Jeremy, the sales agent greeting us, that I was looking for a recliner. He found me a couple that fit my needs and I made a purchase. He asked if I wanted the warranty and I chose to get the most expensive one. Easy sale, no bulls!@#. We were in and out of the store in 20 minutes.
I was told delivery would not be until January 11th, but if I wanted to pick it up in Platteville I could have it Friday December 28th. No brainer, since Platteville is closer to home. Come the 28th, no call... I called the Platteville store and was told it was not there and to call my sales rep.
I called Jeremy, who was apologetic. He explained that he misread an email and thought that the Platteville store would be able to receive the item in that time frame. Understandable, mistakes happen. He said he could have the chair delivered to Dubuque on Monday, the 31st or again in Platteville the next Friday, the 4th. I worked in Dubuque on Monday so I chose that store for pickup on the 31st. Guess who still does not have a chair? I called the Dubuque store around noon today (the 31st) and was told that Jeremy should have known better. Any orders placed on Friday will not be delivered until Wednesday.
Not off to a good start. I now have to wait until Wednesday the 2nd for the chair to be delivered to the store. My other option was to have it delivered to my home on January 11th. The same offer that was made to me at purchase. I declined. They have promised to make it up to me, but it's hard to believe it at this point. We'll see where it goes from here.

What I do not like is the false expected dates for items not in stock. When you order a living room set and are told mid-March (roughly 6 weeks) and are now going on mid-April without a call regarding when your order will be in, thatâs an issue. Iâve been on my fiancĂ© for weeks now asking if Ashleyâs has called about our order or provided an update yet. They hadnât so I made him call today and they claim our set has been sitting in Cedar Rapids. Iâm not sure how long it has been there, why we were not notified or contacted to setup a delivery time, but itâs extremely frustrating. It seems communication is lacking at Ashleyâs big time. We asked them to send our furniture to Dubuque from Cedar Rapids and weâd just pick it up ourselves instead of waiting god knows how long for them to deliver it. The employee we spoke to stated that was fine, even after we informed them weâd be on vacation for a week. A couple days later, they decide to call us being extremely unprofessional & rude stating if itâs not picked up the day after we get back from vacation they were shipping it back to a warehouse! When you spend over 3 grand in cash or more, you expect to have your items around the time promised, not a month from that date or later and donât expect to be treated in that manner. Iâm betting they just throw out a 6 week timeframe to close the sale & hope their customerâs lose track of time or buy into whatever lame excuses they have for being extremely late. Not only did we have a timing issue, disrespectful phone call, & lack of communicationâŠwe were told the set we ordered was made in America. Funny, the tag on our couch said made in Vietnam. Did not have time and could not recalculate bill would take money out of her purse if she needed to but sat there waiting for me to feel guilty that she overcharged me. Lied about delivery during sale stated no problem with deliveries after 5 pm or on Saturdays which I said was important. After purchase could only deliver on Fridays and could not guarantee after 5. They would pick the time. I was asked to leave my door open so they could just deliver furniture . She was rude saying "Don't you have ANYBODY" who could be there? I got part of order 1st delivery which loveseat was damaged and delivery guy took picture of. When called to check on replacement loveseat was told they would have to talk to manager because I could not return clearance item. But Kimberly said it would all be new out of warehouse no damage prior to sale. I once again requested later delivery called Kimberly who said delivery manager was not in but would get in touch with me. Manager called 2 minutes later and said could only deliver between 2 and 5 on Friday. So I had to leave my job early to accommodate delivery schedule. I called at 5:15 on Friday explaining my delivery had not yet arrived. They in turn said stay on the line I will track them and told me they were 20 minutes from my house.
