I want to start off with saying how much I love this restaurant and it truly saddens me that I have to leave such a poor review. But my last experience was so poor I had to share and figured the management and owner may want to know about a bad employee in such a great family feel establishment. The server, Alfredo, which I do believe is the owners son, was not only rude and abrasive, but also confrontational with us about asking questions. From the start we felt he didn’t care about serving our table. It felt like he was avoiding us, he did not bring refills of chips or sodas. After sitting there for an hour and seeing multiple people who arrived after us getting their food, we decided to talk to another server, Alex, who is ALWAYS more than helpful, prompt, and makes going there a great experience. Alex was surprised that we didn’t have our food yet and that we were not being served by Alfredo. We got up and asked to pay for our drinks since it was obvious that Alfredo was not going to help us any further. Once we confronted Alfredo at the front of the restaurant to pay, he became very angry, even more confrontational, and stormed off towards the back of the restaurant. We had to then wait another few minutes before another server came to take our payment. Do yourself a favor, if you have Alfredo as a server, ask for someone else who is actually going to...
Read moreI truly adore this restaurant! I spent a decade in the southwest and thought when I moved back home good Mexican food would be past tense. I was pleasantly surprised that this family friendly sit-down restaurant actually has authentic Mexican food. I highly recommend their tequila shrimp fajitas & as well as the dish that comes in a giant cauldron. I did not get its name But it includes shrimp, steak, chicken, and fish. With a side of rice and beans, half an avocado with pico de gallo in it and tortillas. Two people couldn't finish the dish! our waiter was wonderful, he was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. This place is also good if you have children who don't know how to eat spicy food yet. Are teenagers split a dish and the 10 year old 8 off of what my fiance got. Everybody was happy. Their chips and salsa...
Read moreI would give this place no stars if I could. My sister and her husband ate here and their waiter said something which my sister thought was "what would you like to drink" so she said Mountain Dew. Apparently that was not what the man said and he acted outwardly offended. My sister ordered some nachos and they took the chimichanga shell of some other persons food that they had not eaten and made it into chips for my sister. She woke up this morning feeling very sick. Eventually she was screaming because she was in so much pain so she went to the hospital and it turns out she has severe food poisoning. The waiter that they had thought everything he was doing to her was so funny but my sister is not mean spirited and would never try to offend anyone. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. I just wonder how many other people have had to...
