Starbucks — Restaurant in Dubuque

I go to this location weekly, if not multiple times. Zero problems until today. Ordered two of the new summer berry refreshers, one subbing oat milk for a coworker who wanted the summer skies, I got the lemonade version. I used mobile order & drive thru for pickup. The worker; while not outwardly rude, could do better about customer etiquette in general. ‘They’re making it now.’ Were the only words said to me. I needed a carrier, she had already closed the window and I shrugged it off, no big deal. Then I realized I wasn’t given straws for either drinks which.. require straws. My drink was very much made incorrectly and I dumped out 80% of it. I didn’t know I even needed straws for the drink until getting back to work as this is different from my usual order. Sadly my coworker and I weren’t able to enjoy what could’ve been great had the worker paid more than 2 seconds of her time towards me. A waste of $14 and now I’m skeptical towards trying any new featured item...

After ordering on the mobile app, my daughter went to pick up her order, and unfortunately, the truck she was in does not fit through their drive-through. When they went to the door, the sign on the door said closed for in store ordering. So I called to get her a refund. A guy by the name of Kim answered and was extremely rude from the get-go. He said, "Anyone that can read can see that it says to come to the side door." Kim was very aggressive and argumentative. He was quick to note he has 4 witnesses. Gosh, I'm so glad so many people got to "witness" your poor behavior Kim. I see why you have poor Google reviews. Never have I ever had such poor service from Starbucks. Steve, the guy in the drive through, was an absolute jerk. Ordered online for in store pickup. In store closed for whatever reason. Went to drive through and was trying to figure out which ones(ordered multiple of the same type with customizations) had which as they weren't labeled. Just as rude and snippy, he says its because I ordered it through their app he doesn't know. Didn't you just make them? Then the jerk gives me tiny straws for them, i didn't even notice before using and watched my straw disappear inside the drink. I won't be returning.
