Life's a Beach a Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store — Local services in Duck

Very disappointed with this store!! Last week my daughters and I made a special trip to visit while on vacation. Considering the traffic in the Outer Banks, this was not going to be a quick little outing. We made it to the store eager to shop and I saw a few things I’d like to buy, HOWEVER.....we were never greeted nor acknowledged while we were in the store. I have 4 daughters...they have to have noticed at least one of us!! Anyway, it felt chaotic. The manager (I’m guessing) was SO loud...yelling to the other employees, talking about schedules, moving merchandise, but never tending to the customers!! Very rude vibe. We felt like we were intruding. Lily Pulitzer is not inexpensive and I can easily buy it online or go to a friendlier store near my home. Why on earth would I spend my money at a store where I’m clearly not valued or welcomed as a customer?? I would give zero...

I can’t believe that I’m writing a poor review about one of my favorite brands... I made a special trip to go to this store while on vacation and planned my day around being able to go! I’m very sad to say that I only stayed in the store for at most five minutes due to the staff being rude, inattentive, and unhelpful. I did see some things that I would have purchased, however I felt unvalued as a loyal Lilly customer. The manager seemed to be more concerned about her social schedule than to acknowledge the customers in the store. Really disappointed. Loved this store for years and always purchased a dress to wear for a night during our trip. They are not size-inclusive anymore and do not carry barely any XS or XL. They claim because of not selling yet I saw multiple people looking for that size. They should at least include an XS and XL in each style. Women do not always fall between a S-L, and seems crazy in this day and age to still be size restrictive. Not necessarily helpful staff either.
