This place serves wonderful food! It is right off the road and looks like it has been here a minute. We used to come here fairly regularly before covid. Today was a first time back since. We love this little place, but we discovered that the covered porch and inside eating area had been renovated into just a porch and an inside merchandise area. This was disappointing. Now, the offering is an outside courtyard with covered picnic tables and bistro tables. There is an ice cream shop also in this courtyard. The space is spacious and sunny. The orders are placed inside either at the counter or at two kiosks by the back door. There are no drinks on the menu. However there is a cooler with a limited number of soft drinks, water, tea, and soft adult beverages. These are complicated to add if you use the kiosk as we did. You must still pay for them at the counter. After ordering and paying for drinks, your food is made to order and delivered by name to your table in paper wrappers and a bag. No real frills for sure. However, if you are looking for freshly prepared food then this is your place. The parking is limited as well.

Called in a to-go order (6/24). The food was ready when I got there. Walked in and was greeted right away. I got the club sandwich, and it was good. My only complaint is that I asked if they could make it a sub instead of a sandwich, and they said they can't do that. I told they if I had to pay more, that would be fine. I don't understand why they couldn't make it on the sub roll instead of the sandwich bread. I had a 30-minute drive back to the house and didn't want the sandwich bread to get soggy. Also, be careful if you place a to-go order they ask you what side you want, and if you don't get chips, there is an up charge. It's kinda my fault for not looking at the menu, but the person on the phone taking the order could have said there is an extra fee if not getting chips. They ask you in a way that comes off as if you can choose without an up charge. Like I said, it was good, but I don't think I'll be coming back. There are too many other restaurants in the area to come back here. I didn't get the 5-star experience.

It's a hometown classic and one that makes out of towners feel like home. A friend recommended this place and I knew I couldn't go wrong after looking at their selection of seafood, sandwiches, and burgers — prime beach cuisine. I ordered the Duck Buster burger with sweet tea. The burger size is enormous and so good with a burger, pulled pork BBQ, onion ring and toppings to satisfy your craving. The staff was so nice and friendly making sure I got great service while waiting and browsing the mini shop inside of local craft goods. There is an outdoor seating area that's great to relax and for the summer season. I greatly appreciated the food and service, and can't wait for another Duck Buster.

The food was good but service was bad. The woman working was rude. Would say not quite kid friendly. We had a party of 11 with 6 of them young kids. She gave us a hard time about pushing tables together so we could all sit together. Her exact words were "That's enough" from across the room. We were ok with just 2 tables but the message could have been presented better. After this, I also over heard her complaining about the noise and blaming it on the kids although they were not being overly loud, not shouting or screaming, they were all sitting nicely, just normally talking but the size of our party made it seem loud. Lastly, we were standing in line to place our order, everyone in our party placed their orders before us, we were next but they made everyone in the place form 2 lines and started taking orders from the new line, skipping us. She did keep praising the kitchen and the kitchen staff were awesome, so fast. The cackalacky wings were great, I loved them. The brisket was good. The kids chicken tenders were great, seemed like they were breaded there. And the potato salad was really great. Overall despite the bad first impression from the service we would come back here for the food. My biggest complaint was overhearing her...

In short, super expensive, horrible food and aweful service. I called in a to go order and when I went in pick it up, the hostess immediately yelled at me that they were only doing take out. She was very nasty shoving the bag at me and when i askes if this was all of our order she was just very mean and nasty about us trying to make sure We received all of our $60 order. We ordered 2 BLTs and a pulled pork platter. The BLTs were aweful. The sandwiches were made with bacon crumbles (the kind you would put on a salad), and had no mayonnaise. One was not supposed to have lettuce but did. The sandwiches were supposed to come with either chips or fries and we ordered fries, for $2 more each and didn't receive ANY fries or chips. The pulled pork was just a pile of pulled pork (we were expecting a pulled pork sandwich). While the pulled pork and onion rings were good it didn't make up for the fact that only ONE of our meals was edible. We vacation in this area every year and in the past we had enjoyed the food and service at Duck Deli even though they are expensive this year's experience made sure that we never go back or recommend to another friend/family...
