I have to say this about this particular store it's a very clean and the staff are attentive The different clothing sections from women's to children's to men are all nicely and neatly organized I would like to be able to give the store 2 1/2 stars out of five due to the fact that this is one of the most expensive thrift stores but I have been to a lot of their women's and men's shirts for a regular T-shirt not a particularly high end brand just a jc penny or target style brand would run you anywhere from around $10-$12 , I did find that this was pretty consistent for their jeans for both women and men ranging from the 15 almost $19 range- Real deals in this particular store I find are the children's clothing they are extremely low price which is fantastic if you have kids for the majority of their kids clothing they are priced at $1.49 to a high of 4.99 , In a summary I would say that if you were looking for great friends for kids clothing then this is a great place to go ahead and pick up some real bargains I was able to snag my son to Columbia fleece jackets and also three under armor jackets pretty much brand new because the brand tag and it garment care tag was extremely Chr in a summary I would say that if you were looking for great friends for kids clothing then this is a great place to go ahead and pick up some real bargains I was able to snag my son to Columbia fleece jackets and also three under armor jackets pretty much brand new because the brand tag and it garment care tag was extremely Crisp A total of nine dollars , Which is an absolute bargain however if you were looking for women's clothing or men's clothing my recommendation would be going to the Goodwill of Garfield they have a fantastic selection of women's and men's clothing that will not run you any more than 4 to 6 dollars which is an absolute bargain however if you were looking for women's clothing or men's clothing my recommendation would be going to the Goodwill off Garfield they have a fantastic selection of women's and men's clothing that will not run you any more than 4 to 6 dollars Per item of clothing I understand that proceeds do you go to veterans which is a great thing but I do think more people would shop at this particular location if they had thrift store Pricing if you are an avid thrifter or then you...
Read moreI love buying something used that would normally end up in a landfill, or donating something to get re-used by someone else. I don't mind that savers has higher prices than they "should" or that I have to check myself out. The reason I am giving savers 2 stars now, and would have given it 5 stars a couple years ago, is that they no longer have dressing rooms, and they do not even offer store credit for returns, you have to exchange when you bring stuff back. So the majority of the store is racks of clothing that I can't try on unless I half disrobe in an aisle, (which I actually am totally down with, if they have a problem with me standing in my underwear, that's not my problem, that's theirs,) because when I find 6 pairs of pants that look like they might fit, if I'm lucky, one of them actually will, and there is no way I'm buying 6 pairs of pants to take home, in order to find out that one fits, and then have to come back and find something to exchange the other 5 pairs for in the moment. Absolutely ridiculous! I would have given it zero stars, except I did find a perfectly fitting black evening gown there last week, and knew it fit because i disrobed half my body at a time in a back aisle to try it on. It still had the tag in it and the original price was $98 and I got it for $30. Yay! But after i took it back off, i realized I wanted to find a sweater to go over it but that would have required me to do the whole disrobing-in-the-aisle thing again to make sure the sweater fit and looked good over the dress. Good lord. Put the dressing rooms back or offer to take items back without needing to...
Read moreThis is for hard goods only. I've never been fond of Savers clothing pricing
This Savers location used to be my favorite in Minnesota. The employees here are great and it's a large store that gets a lot of merchandise. But, as of late unfortunately they have succumb to the trend of marking things up to (and beyond) eBay prices. $100 used wooden cutting boards, $50 for an AS IS Wii that hasn't been tested with a disc, etc. Meh. I wish these stores would at least acknowledge that their is a difference between buying used goods online and tested with a money back guarantee vs locally untested with, at best, a week in-store credit guarantee. Like all Savers I recommend always going over anything you're considering buying on site here to the best of your ability. There have been many times where I have found heavily corroded batteries still installed in items. On the plus side, unlike Goodwill they don't seem to be pulling everything of value before it even hits the floor so the store can at least be fun to go through and they do have decent coupons frequently. 30% of Senior Tuesday is what keeps this store at a 3 for me. Wish they'd go back to the more reasonable pricing because this store used to be a 5 in my book. Personally I spent a lot more money there when it was a perceived value.
TL;DR
Prices are Ebay based. Watch for corrosion. Occasional deal....
