Honestly, I love Target. I go there for all of my needs. I made my wedding registry through Target since I love so many of the products there. However, this wedding registry has made my head spin. I have had issues with my account and my wedding registry since the beginning. I could log on to target and see that I had a registry but wasn't able to access or manage this. Frustrating. The first time this happened when I needed to return a large fire column that had shattered in transport. The manager was great and fixed this right away, making me an in-store credit gift card. Today was very different. I was returning an item that had been purchased for me through a different store, so I didn't need two. I was told that since I wasn't able to log in to my registry there was nothing that they could do. They were not willing to get the manager in order to get me an in-store credit. She told me that since this had already happened once, they would not do it again. And this was not my fault. I definitely did not need two of the exact same vacuum at my home and was sent away with this vacuum and no resolution. I do not live close to town and was very frustrated being told that there wasn't anything that could be done. It honestly has made me not want to do a baby registry at this store for this reason. Very...
Read moreBecause I came to Target to purchase t20 bookcases. There was none in the shelf so I flagged down a couple of aisles away a young gentleman and asked if I was in the right aisle or not. He was able to help me but there were no white 5 shelf bookcases on the shelf. He said he'd go back and look in the warehouse for me and came back about 10 minutes later with the two bookcases I needed! Then I asked him if he could help me get them to my car and he was quite to say of course. He got me to a checkout and must have informed his boss what he was doing because he handed me off to another gentleman who found a young man to load them into my car. It was a VERY busy day on Saturday and everyone was so helpful to me. Made me feel like I was the only customer in the store. I tried to get the first guys name but he was already turn and heading back to his department to get on with his work. No dilly dallying for him. Great customer service on his part. He deserves to be recognized in this day and age because that doesn't happen now. He could have just told me well if it's not on the shelf we don't have any (which was what I was expecting) but he didn't. I appreciate him. I never think to shop Target but I'll certainly rethink...
Read moreThe store is clean and attractive, and the newer bathrooms are cleaner than before, but a lot of of the employees are still unhelpful. Out of stock items is still an issue, but this is probably the busiest store in Duluth so I know that employees can do just so much to keep up with it. I don’t know who came up with the idea of putting the cash registers the way they are, but it sure makes it difficult to get through to an open register so 90% of the customers are going for self checkout just like at Walmart because we don’t want to stand in line for half an hour. It would be really nice if we got a discount for doing the employees jobs for them, but we know those incentives won’t happen. At this point I think I go to target once a year because it’s that difficult to deal with and unless you want to stand in line for 30 minutes or more don’t bother with Starbucks because there’s usually one or two people behind the counter over there and it’s a very busy location. My son and I tried a couple of weeks ago and after standing in that line for about 25 minutes I gave up because I’m disabled with Dystonia and I cannot stand in the line for that long unless I want to suffer for the next few days so...
