Spending this summer working on repurposing things I can no longer recycle. I love glass, and buy products that come in glass. Once they are empty, I have a perfectly suitable vessel for any number of things.
But I've never cut glass before, so my husband and I went to Harbor Freight. He selected a glass cutting tool as well as some variable grit dry/wet sand paper.
There was a very helpful woman there who showed us where to find what we needed, and was so pleasant that we left in better moods then we had when we walked in.

Read moreMy name is George Alvarez. Today May 5th I had been looking for a lawnmower jack and found what I wanted on line at HF. com. I called Chickasha, Oklahoma store and they said they didn't have one in stock...no problem. I called Lawton, Oklahoma. Same thing. Again no problem. Then called Duncan, Oklahoma and they had this in stock. Catherine said they would hold it for me. I told her I will be right there and it would take me one hour to get there. She said ok. From my home in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Duncan is 60 miles. We get to the store and was informed Catherine sold that item just before we got there. I was not happy at all and Catherine so conveniently disappeared from the sale floor. The manager came out and said oh we're sorry. Sorry doesn't pay for my time and fuel. We are now heading to Norman, Oklahoma. The sale person there said they have this and will personally hold it for us. NOT HAPPY WITH THE...
