10 Minute Oil change — Local services in Duncanville

This place is ridiculous! Went here for a regular oil change. Price on the sign says "$19.95 + $2.99 disposal fee + tax". I pulled in and the man asked if I wanted a regular or full service oil change. I told him regular and he said it would total "$24.83". Another man comes out while my car was in the bay and asks if I want regular or synthetic oil. He said for synthetic its "$6.00 more". I said ok. I go to pay and he gives me a total of $46 and some change. He said that was the price for synthetic and I was asked if I wanted it. I told him the man said "$6.00 more" not "$46". I told him I wouldn't pay that much and it should only be about $30. He asked me how much I wanted to pay. I told him $30. He then tells me a total of $35 and change. Again, this didnt add up. He said that was after taxes. I broke down the math for him and told him I refused to pay that. I had a $50 bill in my hand and told him you can either give me 2 $10 bills or a $20 but Im not paying anything more. He punched some stuff in the computer and gave me a $20 bill and receipt. For years we have patronized this business for oil changes and inspections only for both of our Infiniti vehicles. The service has always been subpar but this business is located in our community and convenient. We’ve referred family and friends but that will never happen again. All confidence, trust and respect was lost when we noticed that both Infiniti emblems had been removed. 95% of the time our vehicles were serviced here together. When discussing our concerns with the owner and his manager about our missing emblems, the owner threw his hands up and said it wasn’t his problem and the manager said they must have fallen off … really?!? The vehicle in the photos is always garaged and all other regularly scheduled maintenance is completed by the dealer. Ladies, gents, teens and seniors whenever you entrust your vehicle to a shop for oil changes, inspections etc, either watch them work or take before photos and inspect your vehicle before leaving. I went to this shop on 8/15/2024 for an oil change. The manager came to me and told me I need my filter and Cabin filter replaced and I said OK. I never said anything about checking my spark plugs, but they checked them anyway. The manager told me that I need to replace the plugs, and I told him I would come back later because they were charging $385.00 for a tune up. I had no problem with my truck before that day then suddenly, I got a check engine light and a code stating that bank 1 is misfiring. So I decided to change my spark plugs myself because I can do my own engine work. When taking out the first spark plug which is bank 1. I noticed they didn’t fully install the spark plug. If you ask me how I know when I was wiggling the spark plug wire off the spark plug the whole spark plug came out in the wire boot.
