I have been a consumer on & off for 3 yrs at this same location. I've noticed changes in staff and had never been mistreated by any of them. Well that changed 😕. I stopped by in December well aware my membership had expired but was just needing a quick wash as I was on my way to a meeting. From previous staff and experiences I stopped here at The Super Star car wash in Duncanville because this is where I prefer even though I do not reside in Duncanville. Upon entering one employee was attempting to help me because he noticed my membership was expired. After explaining to him I plan to renew just not now, as we proceeded to talk a guy who I later found out to be a sales manager came over aggressively trying to get me to renew leaning into my window (which bothered my tremendously). After I stated to him 3 times I didn't want to renew and I was in a rush he walked away clearly upset. I stated to the 1st guy how that particular sales manager approach was overly aggressive and I didn't appreciate that. Fast forward to today 2/25/2025 when I entered the car wash with ABSOLUTELY NO interest in purchasing a membership the same sales manager approached my car 😑 no good morning and pitch was the EXACT same from before. After he said his pitch I told him I remember him from before and definitely did not want to purchase a membership. He walked away to help another customer but returned still trying to get me to purchase a membership. After I reiterated my uninterest in a new membership (for a 2nd time) and how his approach was aggressively unnecessary he became upset as I was still trying to pay for my wash and stated to me "don't worry about paying for your wash I'm refusing service ". So I asked for a reason on why my service was being denied. He stated to me " because I feel like you're harassing me ". All because I didn't want a new membership and I'm only stating that as a consumer I don't want to be forced to purchase a membership? I gave the 2 stars because Tanner the GM did come out to explain that's the sale technique they use to get more memberships. The high pressure sales techniques of the staff to get you to buy a membership is just too abrasive for me so I'll go elsewhere from now on where I'm not accused of harassment just because I choose not to purchase...
Read moreHorrible attitudes at this place! They treated me like i was the problem when it was clearly them. I paid for the super protect wash and my it didnt clean my car and my tires didnt have any shine on them. The guy said that the system sometimes give you the wrong wash. I paid for the unlimited and they made me use my 2nd wash for something that wasnt my wash and I made sure that I was the only one going through this time. No one else's lever was lifted. Only mine and sure enough, it said clean wash was what I was getting! The guy had an attitude and changed it to super protect and my car still isn't cleaned (all it had was day old grass from someone cutting the grass and dust and my tires were still dry. I pulled over and asked the rude girl nicely might I add...I am not a problematic person. Everyone loves me, but these people are just rude and doesnt need to be in customer service. The girl ignored me when I asked her if she could go get the guy. He came and I asked are yall out of tire shine. He looked at my tires, huffed and said no and walked away without saying give me a sec, Ill be back and then came back with spray. Sprayed a tiny bit on the towel and wiped and then said, see...it looks the same. It is because he only use a tiny bit and sprayed it on the towel first. I didnt say anything because he was clearly upset as if it was my fault. I come this this car was often and has never had a problem like this before EVER! Then I said, yall are treating me like I'm the problem. He then yelled and said, "DID I FIX IT!" and walked off. My feelings are so hurt because im truly a good person and I didnt deserve that. Might I add, the first time I went through, he had an attitude while telling me to turn my wheel a little bit. I overlooked it and thought, he must be hot out here, but surely, he just had a bad attitude. Plus sized, black guy, and light skinned. The girl that was rude was black, fair colored, short, with her hair all over the place. Looks to be about 18. These people dont care about customer service and that is sad. Im not going to let them ruin my day though but corporate needs to do something about this. That business is going down. On a Friday, it is usually a lot of people at that car wash. Now its barely...
