My Secret Garden — Local services in Dundee Township

My aunt, cousin and my two goddaughters came in for a Garden Party package a few weekends ago. The girls LOVED it SO much! The place is so well kept, it really feels like a real life princess doll house! The attention to detail is very evident, it is a fully immersive experience. Our host, Ms Hannah, was very kind and fit her role of as a princess assistant wonderfully. Although the girls wished it hadn’t ended, I think the time allotted to everything was perfect. Things moved along and transitioned well without feeling rushed. My one “complaint” is about the treats served at the little tea party. Although there are many add on’s/upgrades available, I still felt like the standard treats included could be better- maybe a little fancier and more princess themed. Snacks were mini marshmallows, cheeze it trail mix with cereal and candy bits I believe, as well as a small cupcake and the princess tea. I think maybe some macaroons or crown or dress shaped cookies would have felt more fancy. It was the only thing that made it feel like there was a “lapse in magic”in my opinion but I also understand that kids can be picky and it might be better to have simple treats that are more likely...

My daughter had a great time celebrating her 5th birthday at My Secret Garden. Rebecca, the owner, was great to work with and her pride in her business really shows. It’s an interesting time to host parties but Rebecca is taking safety and cleanliness precautions seriously and I was comfortable booking a tea party for my daughter.

The day of the party, I was thrilled with the decorations and the set up in the tea room. It was beyond what I was expecting and perfect for my daughter’s personality. We just left our daughter's 9th birthday party and it was an absolute 10/10 experience. Miss Rebecca and Miss Reese did an incredible job making the birthday girl feel like a princess with her nails, hair, and makeup looking great. They were both very sweet and went out of their way to make it a special day for all the girls. We had a peanut allergy in the group and they were extremely attentive to make sure that guest was safe. They even worked on the girls' makeup to the very end to make sure everyone got their turn. The group had a blast dressing up, being pampered, and having a fancy sit-down.
