I’m not sure if it’s just covid related and the stores have been stuggling, but it seems that the sales associates have become increasingly pushy about signing you up for a credit card and stalking you in the store wondering “what you’re there for”.. it’s super uncomfortable. Before I go in I have to pep talk myself to not get too annoyed when I’m in there and to remain calm lol. I went in there the other day and the girl at the door asked 50 questions before I could even get in and right when I walked away she starts talking on her walki-talkie right in front of me about me in detail to her coworkers.. like how I don’t have a credit card, what my reason for being there is, etc.. it felt very strange. When I was about to check out I heard the girl at the front desk walki-talkie over to the girl at the front about a lady who was about to leave informing her that “she didn’t get a credit card, etc...” lol.. it’s so obnoxious!! Of course when it was my turn to check out I was bombarded with all the up-sells and credit card talk and declined them all and was given an attitude at the end from the sales associate. I could tell she wasn’t pleased with my decline in all her offers. Overall, going into Victoria’s Secret has been a bit of a nightmare experience. I feel like I’m holding my breath when inside, just trying to get in and out with the least amount of harassment as possible. Every step I took there was someone there with more questions, offers to measure me for a bra etc but when I had a question none of the ladies could give me an answer! Finally, I made my way to the register but unlucky for me the phone rang so I had to wait even though I mentioned I was in a hurry because of my appointment I had to get to but all I got was a finger waived in my face, you know, "just wait"gesture,eventually I was permitted to pay for my items that were just tossed in the bag, I asked for tissue and gift receipt because I was buying a gift, that request met with a loud sigh and an eye roll after which a huge amount of tissue was piled on top of my bag and I was asked if that was OK... Read moreThis location is in desperate need of a remodel. It's sad to see what the store has come to since I worked there from 2010-'14. I remember management talking about a remodel back then and that's almost 10 years ago! Like complete night and day in terms of service, selection, and experience. The store is seldom stocked with additional sizes, in constant disarray, and the beauty section is a disaster with broken perfume caps and busted lotion bottles everywhere. I know the majority of it is on the customer (like a GREAT majority), but the store still needs to be maintained and at the very least, cleaned. Dust, fingers prints, and dirt all over the walls and glass. Employee interaction has been mediocre at best. They're so understaffed that there's 1 person at the register drowning in transactions while 1 employee is running around doing everything else.
