Verizon — Local services in Dunnellon

I went to TCC in Dunnellon to get Home Internet service. I told Katelyn specifically I wanted the lowest plan because I do not use the Internet for much. I couldn’t get access to my account online or through the app.I called tech-support with Verizon. They told me to go to the corporate store in Ocala next day. I went to the corporate store trying to reset the app and erase pin numbers, I happened to glance at the representative‘s iPad and saw that I was in the highest plan. of course they cannot do anything about it because I didn’t start the service at that location even though that was an actual Verizon store. So I talked to Verizon customer service and they told me that I would have a prorate of the current plan and full price of the next plan even though I had the Internet less than 22 hours. I told them that the Kaitlyn that sold me the device put me in the wrong plan, . Why should I have to pay for her mistake? They insisted that I would have to….so I cancelled the service. Sent their device back yesterday. I will never do business with Verizon wireless again due to the treatment of customers, especially when it wasn’t even their fault, and creating accounts having accesses and all the BS you have to go through to get it done is not worth it. I read the reviews and went there to transfer date from old Verizon phone to my replacement Verizon phone and was told they would charge me $28 dollars to use their data but if I went to an official Verizon I would not be charged. There is a problem with Verizon not giving authorized dealers unlimited data. Plus, Verizon service outside the city's limits is non- existence AND the powers be don't care even though there are three zip codes and the area has expanded. Mobile and Internet provider's are not regulated according to the Florida Public Service Commission. Usually private companies are know for providing better service because of competition but something is very wrong when these types of services are not providing reliable service. The government needs to step in because these companies are not supplying reliable service. If you're looking for reliable mobile or internet service in this area get it in writing. A 68 billion not million, Internet Infrastructure bill was past by the WH several monthd ago. Why is the WH giving money to private companies that are not regulated and haven't added or upgraded any towers to the area? Why haven't they sent out flyers saying they are bringing updated service to an area that needs upgrading? The people at this particular Verizon store do their best considering what they have been given to work with....

I gave my review one star because there in nothing lower. I have been having some connection issues with my IPhone so I tried these folks in Dunnellon. I tried twice; the first time I was told my software was not up to date and to try that. I went home and updated to 6.1. Still the same connecting issues. Went in again today and was helped??? by John. I showed him screen shots of my issues and he suggested it could possibly the network I had at home; not the phone. I informed him several times; my streaming tv, works fine, my IPad, works fine, my Laptop, works fine, my wife’s Laptop, works fine, my wife’s IPhone,works fine. I informed him again that I have a Verizon MiFi, my phone would not work consistently with it on. He asked me to bring it in, perhaps it could be that. I asked him; If everything is working as it should except my phone what conclusion can you possibly come to. He still insisted I bring the MiFi in!!!!! You think I am going to bring it into that store?...
