Adela Floral, Design Co — Local services in Durango

Over promise and way, way, under deliver. This would be a polite critique of this company. We had high hopes of their work and creativity we heard so much about, but unfortunately we did not have this experience with them, whatsoever. We were asked to show floral arrangement ideas of what we would like to see in our wedding. So we sent photos of displays consisting of bouquets around wedding signs, at the ceremony, and around the venue, and they did not come through with this vision nor cared to understand it. Not sure if they even looked at the pictures we showed them for inspiration. They did not even show up on our wedding day to set up, they sent two girls to do the work and we were never notified of this ahead of time. Just understand that their undeclared motto must be that "less is more" as you will pay TOP dollar for more but receive less. If you complain, they will simply point you to the fine print in the contract which says (and I summarize), you are S.O.L. because you were trusting enough to pay in full to this company for a very important day as your wedding! I noticed that the good reviews they have are from same industry vendors who are not customers. I am so thankful I found Adela floral!! Natalie truly went above and beyond for me. I was a very last minute bride trying to come up with a covid wedding plan b. One thing I knew I wanted was a florist that could be creative, colorful, and unique in making my bouquet and our arch pieces. There wasn’t much for a florist in pagosa springs, so I was elated when I found Natalie in Durango AND she would come deliver to Pagosa Springs the day of the wedding! It was such a relief. She picked up some lovely buckets of flowers from Mountain Belle Flower Farm for me and drove up from Durango, when she arrived she was quick to hop in and help fill vases and get the arch setup. The bouquet she made for me was PHENOMENAL! It was exactly what I wanted and she really listened to my vision and added her talent. The arch pieces she made were incredible as well. I was very happy! She was friendly, comforting, (definitely what a bride wants on her wedding day!) helpful, timely, and professional. I’ve been waiting to write this review until I got my wedding photos back to show just how amazing Natalie and Molly are! I got married July 27th at eureka lodge. I planned my wedding from Wisconsin, and while I wish I had been able to have a larger budget with florals, Adela flora made the process for me stress free and seamless. I was able to share my vision and budget and without question they guided me in the right direction. I also love that they source flowers locally, they told me what was in season and how to get the vibe I wanted. I didn’t get the pleasure of them helping with set up, due to my financial constraints, but I loved our interactions virtually and in picking up my flowers they were so kind! I believe Molly said she was married in eureka 10 years prior! I highly recommend Adela flora for all your needs! The flowers were beautiful and the service top notch.
