Union Social House — Local services in Durango

This tucked-away spot is new to our family of five. It exceeded our expectations!

It's mostly a bar with an extensive cocktail menu, and several draft beer, can beer, and wine options.

There are three food trucks out back, and we had food from two of them.

The bartender was alone and very busy due to a family event for the local college. She was on top of things and kept up excellently!

We tried fish and chips and gourmet fries from the Port & Pasture truck. Both were outstanding! So delicious! The batter on the fish was better than I've had since I was in Scotland.

We also had curry and momos from Sherpa Momo Ghar. Both were amazing! The curry was so tasty, and the sauce for the momos was perfectly spicy for me. We also had papadums, which were crisp and tasty.

We aren't in Durango often, but will return here to see what other hidden gems are...

The Union Social House is a must visit! You have to go there... Stop, turn around and head to the Union House NOW! No question. The Mexican Mule is the best I've ever had and the atmosphere is top notch in Durango. As a business traveler, I visit some really cool bars / restaurants in big cities. When I go to the Union House, I feel like I'm I feel like I'm traveling to another cool city - THIS PLACE IS THAT COOL. What's more, you'll find the owner is part of the service, which I love. Can I just say WOW? We just got back from the Union Social House and our experience was fantastic from start to finish... I don’t like to tell people what to do- so I will HIGHLY SUGGEST you check out one of the themed private garden sheds in the back- Carol didn’t miss a detail... space heaters, blankets, blue tooth speakers, and this only speaks to the cozy, contemporary environment!
