Boot Barn — Local services in Durant

I live in Texas and found out that my Boot Barn credit card had been closed due to not using it after a certain amount of time. I wasn't happy with learning of this. I wasn't able to apply for a new one on online. I had to go to the store in Durant. With being frustrated before I got there because of this, my visit turned our wonderful! Minus the a/c not working well, the employees were extremely helpful. Jessica got me approved with in minutes and I got to shop! I had a armful of items and she found me in the store and took all of my items to the register so I could continue to shop! Chuck's personality is what I needed today after I found our my account was closed. He opened up clean dressing rooms, helped find items, and had a smile on his face. I'm from Texas and shop the Frisco location. It's definitely a bigger store and more selections but the customer service in Durant was extremely better! Jessica and Chuck got both pairs of boots, 2 pairs of men's jeans, and 7 shirts, and 1 men's belt rung up smoothly, bagged, and boxed quickly. The heat was horrible in there, however that didn't stop them from superb customer service! When I visit Tishomingo, I'll definitely go back to see them at the Durant location! I came in earlier today to browse and see if I could find anything for my family vacation. while I was there today, an older lady who worked there started yelling at another little girl who worked there over her outfit (which I don’t know the stores dress code but I don’t see why it would be out of it). that older lady raised her voice at that poor girl in front of everyone. after that I went about my time, and when i was looking at boots she starts yelling at the young girl again. i didn’t catch every word of this time but it seemed to be the same reason as before but that kind of behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable when in front of customers or in any circumstance whether the lady was right or wrong. I walked in the store and three employees were at the counter talking. I was never asked if I needed help or assisted in any way. I looked for, and found a pair of Twisted X boots without assistance. I made the purchase because I needed work boots asap. I usually always give positive reviews, but with all honesty I will go to Sherman or to Rick's next time. If Durant wants people to shop local, maybe interacting with customers would help. Nice store though, and great selection.
