I'm only being generous w/2 stars b/c they at least mail out coupons and the gentleman at check out was Very kind! The dark headed woman that was our waitress did not provide the greatest service, or was she clear or honest w/answers to questions. I can't eat buffet food b/c of my gluten allergy. I wasn't very hungry anyway, I mainly wanted to spend time w/my children & granddaughter and buy their lunch. I specifically asked if they had ONE trip salad bar. If they didn't offer ONE trip, I wasn't going to eat. She told me, YES. I said, I'll have the ONE Trip Salad Bar then and a water. I had a very small salad and nothing more. Toward the end of eating, my daughter asked if they had an apple dessert pizza coming out, or if they could make one. The waitress said, YES. At that time, I ordered a Gluten Free Supreme Pizza to go. She asked if it would be on 1 ticket and I told her yes. She brought the ticket, which showed an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT Salad Bar $6.99! She clearly could have told me that they did not offer ONE TRIP! She also could have let me know that I could go up there MORE than ONE time, since ONE Trip wasn't an option, but it wasn't until I asked about it on the ticket that she said, "We don't have a 1 trip". The ticket showed 1:36pm, which was shortly after ordering the apple & GF pizzas. Part of our group HAD to be somewhere at 2pm, so at 1:55p.m. they gave up on dessert and left. A couple of minutes after 2pm, the waitress went to a table beside my 1 daughter & I that had been just waiting and I asked if the GF Pizza was ready. There were only 3 tables w/people, so they were NOT busy! Across the restaurant, she said, yeah it's done. We went to pay. The GF Pizza wasn't at the register either! The man went looking for it. He said, I guess she was taking it to your table & didn't know where you went. My GF Pizza was near her clean up sink and she watched us stand up & go to the register! On the screen, while paying with my card, set tip amounts came up and I did NOT want to leave any of those amounts, so I chose OTHER. It automatically gave her an 18% tip of nearly $10!! The receipt shows the Server as: Charlie, but I don't know if that's actually her name, or the very kind man that checked us out. At home, I opened the Pizza box and the pizza that we waited 45 minutes for was burnt!! No one ever got any apple dessert pizza either. FYI: 1yr olds are considered Toddlers, so just in case she was only $0.00 on that specific day, just a heads up, because that waitress put the baby as 1 Toddler Buffet & Glass of Water (b/c we did get her a water). I feel like that waitress made our experience very different from what it could have been and I was very frustrated that it cost $61.83 for we 4 + little one to have...
Read moreThought we would run up to the pizza house order a pizza and a little salad . I have to have my pizza light on sauce or I am up with indigestion and heart burn . Obviously I do not have the cast iron stomach I use to have . We got our salads and sit down we got our drinks and ordered the pizza . After an hour still no word on the pizza . Hour and a half I am done sitting there . The waitress was busy while another was standing with her arms crossed watching . So I paid $35 dollars for small salads and tea . Glass was never refilled . The tip was taken as I never got change . I understand it did get busy . And that is the only response I got at the register was ,I got busy . If we would have just been told the pizza was done ,we would have walked up and got it . However at home and still hungry as we did not get our pizza . So I am now eating a cold sandwich. I usually leave 25% or I double the cost which whatever the meal cost they also get that same in tip if not more . I was once told that my tips were very generous. It is not about the money . I spend 10 times that amount at Apple bees . In one sitting during baseball season . Not asking to be pampered just want what I ordered or at least told it is on the heat lamp . It is what it is . I do not want anything for free , maybe this trip is just a bad trip for everyone . 10 /15 after 4pm . Is usually...
