Perhaps the absolute worst customer service in the history of retail stores. I went there to make a return for 3 items which I ordered online and ended up not liking. Those items were in their original packing and unopened. I had the credit card I used to make the purchase in hand as well as the original receipt. The employee asked me for the email address linked to the order which I didn’t have in hand with me as I checked out the purchase as a “guest” when I made the order online. He refused to do the returns for me claiming it is the store’s policy to only accept returns if and only if I can provide a phone number and an email address. I explained to him repeatedly that I have the original receipt and credit card used for the purchase but he decided to ignore me. He then started to raise his voice and project such a terrible and rude body language and demeanor saying he wont accept my returns. I asked him to show me such policy but he refused and become even more rude to me in front of everyone in the store. All while the rest of the employees are watching carelessly. I asked to speak to his manager but he also refused my request and instead was raising his voice even more. In the end after almost 10 mins at the counter with him being beyond rude with a long queue of customers waiting for their turn he agreed to return my legit items. He printed me a return-receipt which he initially claimed he wont be able to do since I wont provide my personal cell phone and email address. This is the worst experience I've ever had with placing an order online in my life. I placed this $162 order for my daughters Christmas clothes 13 days ago and nothing has been delivered, the coat on the order was canceled 10 days after the order was placed so I had to order her coat from a different company that thankfully was competent enough to get it delivered today, still don't have the refund for the coat. Not sure if any of this order will even get here before the 23rd and if the order comes after the 23rd I'm just returning all of it for a refund because by then I'll have to go to the store and buy everything in-store during a pandemic, the day before Christmas Eve. This entire experience has been awful, I've reached the point that I just don't want to ever bother with this company ever again in my life. I'll be sure to tell everyone to stay away from this company if this is how you treat your customers. I'm absolutely appalled by your customer service reps and how they don't care about the actual customers. There is no reason for this order to not be delivered. Also, I mentioned at the counter that shoes were all made in China, Vietnam, Turkey, Brazil, Spain, etc. Someone should reduce 90% of them at $3.99 or give them to non-profits asap. No cash register for handicapped clients either as there was a line to pay & my legs and toes were cramping up. As I was in front of store in handicapped area a speeding up driver almost hit elderly couple's car and ran me over as I tried to direct driver backing up. When I told young man abt manners and stopping at stop line he said there was non and started yelling, I wouldn't put up with his bad language and screaming so I called the Durham police. My question here is: does Nordstrom Rack have cameras & security inside to ask these type of ill behavior people away from their store???!
