The rating I am giving this particular location isnāt a negative reflection on the food quality itself; to be clear, every blaze location Iāve visited tastes great for a reasonable price. However, based on several visits, I will never revisit this particular location ever again due to the extreme rudeness of its OCD manager (Kiera May), a backbiting individual who treats her staff and bystanders like trash. Sheās like a two-sided coin, flipping on a dime at any given momentā Frequently gets mad at her staff and verbally abuses them into submission.
Moreover, this particular manager also made up false accusations, saying untrue things about other people when it came to a monthly business inspectionā when speaking with the inspector, she tried to pass blame onto unrelated workers by trying to place her own incompetencies on them, even smiling immaturely while doing so.
I personally witnessed a job coach professionally guiding a particular (mentally challenged) employee with his job (as directed by the blaze pizza manager herself) when she came barreling out of the kitchen and into the lobby for no apparent reason, yelling at both of them indiscernible things/taking out her own problems on the coach and his client, and in front of a line of customers (who simply looked on with shock). When the coach firmly confronted the whack-job manager for her childish behavior , she looked around embarrassed at everyone in the lobby and ran like a scared deer, right back into the kitchenāno apologies offered to anyone WHATSOEVER. Great way to treat your team and represent your company, āmanager.ā
The manager also makes it a point for some odd reason to set all her clocks on military time, which constantly confuses the staff and affects productivity (the staff promptly set it back to normal time until she returns from her latest Vegas tripā more on this detail later).
Moreover, the music on the overhead speakers is set so loud (at the managerās personal preference) itās like being in an echo chamber, which drives several patrons away (particularly those with sensitivities to noise)āand you know itās bad when two very elderly, hard of hearing customers wince in pain and complain: āthis music level is hurting my ears!ā
Apart from this, the manager repeatedly takes frequent trips to Vegas and brags about drinking til she was roaring drunk and complaining the day afterā at work in front of staffā about her hangovers due to partying hard the night before for the hundredth time.
I normally donāt go above and beyond say this much about a restaurant, even the ones I am generally displeased with, but after several visits here, this particular location is one of the very worst experiences Iāve ever experienced in my entire life at any food related place and I have zero intention of ever returning nor supporting its out of control excuse for a manager. Honestly, at the end of the day it simply leaves a bad taste in oneās mouth.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve eaten Blaze pizza at their other locations on several occasions with fantastic food and service. My experience at this location on Saturday June 23rd was a stark contrast to those experiences with the only thing a blaze being the team moral and mood. My wife and I arrived with our two children minutes after what appeared to be a large call-in or online order had come through. I realize this can be unexpected and a bit stressful but it is your job...get over it. We stood akwardly at the counter waiting to be greeted and nearly every person who spoke with us was rude. The mood was palpable with the team nagging at eachother and employees taking jabs at the manager at whatever chance they could get. My wife had to repeat her order several times as the girl at the front was more concerned with what was going on around her. She then wrote the wrong crust type down still. I understand things happen but when she let the girl know the correct crust type, it was the way it was handled that pissed us off. She turns around to the guy making the crust and tells him we need two high rise crust and not one as she incorrectly wrote down. He then rolls his eyes, sighs and turns away. This was pretty much the response to anything from anyone in the store that day. The cooks were arguing over who was responsible for what pizzas and the girl running the cash register was yelling out loud about how she canāt handle those two. I love the price and the food but I will take my business elsewhere even if it means driving a little further to avoid the family feud environment. Iāve worked customer service for ten years and understand things happen but when your 4 year old ask you what was wrong with everyone when you walk out, thereās...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was the worse we have ever experienced. where they prepare the pizza was extremely gross. I honestly shouldn't have ordered. we were so rushed my husband didn't even get to finish putting toppings on before they rushed him along. the cashier named tate needs a lesson in customer service! she was extremely rude! when I asked her if it was ready for me to run our card she said and I quote, "I already told you it was ready 4 times." my sons pizza had a hair baked into it! this was the worst! while I was waiting for my our pizzas I guessing it was the manager. started talking to tate the cashier about how rude the customers where and how they were all irritated. well why wouldn't customers be frustrated when you are talking about them while they are standing right there and not trying to make anything right? The lady that ordered before us had her order all messed up as well. I have worked in customer service for majority of my life and never have I ever been treated and watched people be treated to rudly at an establishment. we will never be back.. I should have canceled and gone...
