Stopped in to drop off my amazon package at staples in EASLEY tonight and the guy that waited on me asked “ why are you returning this “ i said why ? i said i answered those questions online with amazon and i have never had any questions with returns or using the happy returns drop off at staples . he says “ oh i am just curious “ i said i dont think thats part of the return that i am required to answer at staples. He said “ i am asking bc do you see all of these returns “ ( it was only 3 large boxes at the end of his register) I said that has nothing to do with me, and i am sure amazon is reimbursing stables with a fee , he says no they are not . HE went on to tell me that UPS has lines out the door with amazon returns . The receipt he gave me had the initials of AMD/MOD TODAY @7:34 pm . very rude , VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and definitely poor customer service. I told him that maybe he should work elsewhere . The thing is , my box was taped and ready to go . I had my QR code out for him to scan . Only thing that was needed was the shipping label and my receipt. Read moreI paid 20 dollars to have 25 pounds of documents shredded. The girl left it on the counter and I slowly walked away after paying. I even stood at the door and watched as the bag of documents wasn't moved by her. I then waited in the car 15 minutes, wondering if my information would be shredded or not. When I came back, the bag was still on the counter for any one to look at. I called for a manager and asked why it was there, he told me I had to put it all in the shredder myself, which the girl never told me! I asked what would have happened if I had not returned, they told me my bag would have been placed near the shredder, where anyone could go through it. I asked for my money back and told them it was not right to not tell people (like me who just paid to have all this stuff shredded) that they had to do it themselves. I have no idea what would have happened to all my personal information I thought was safe/ to be shredded by them, if I had not waited and returned. Read moreMy experience with Staples was smooth. I made a phone call first be going to the store. The person on the other end was delightful, courteous and friendly. I asked if she had what I wanted, she replied with "We carry it, but hold on while I check to see if we have any in stock". my wait was brief. I was excited and I told her I was because where I was coming from didn't have any in stock. She said, "when you come into the store, come to the printing counter, and I'll be the short blonde girl." I chuckled inside and said, I'll see you shortly, I'm almost there. I said all of that to say this, her conversation, kind words and pleasant attitude, made my visit a happy experience.
