I don't write a lot of these, but given this was the third occurrence in the past 6 weeks or so, I figured if I put it on here maybe someone with some power or authority to change things will do so. I went in this past Saturday, and of course, there were six or seven folks in front of me, so I stood in line for about ten minutes. When I finally got up to place my order, I noted the pan where the onions and peppers generally are was empty. Asked the guy about 'em, and his response was, "Oh, we don't have fajitas today." As noted, this was the third time in recent memory the exact same thing has happened. Standing in line only to find out that for some inexplicable reason, they don't have onions and peppers. Note, you can't call to ask if they have everything...an automated system answers the phone and refuses to connect you with a human at the restaurant!!! They don't put a sign on the door noting they're out of anything...the only way to find out is to go stand in line, or sit in the drive-thru! Plus...how does a Mexican restaurant run out of onions and peppers so often?!?!?!? Heck, they sell onions and peppers at Ingles, which is a mile from this Chipotle!!!! Back three or four years ago this place was spectacular...a lady named Jenna was the manager, and they were never out of anything. It ran with the efficiency of a German railway. Now, it's a huge roll of the dice. How about this, Chipotle: IF YOU'RE OUT OF SOMETHING, PUT A SIGN ON THE DOOR WHICH NOTES IT SO FOLKS AREN'T STANDING IN LINE FOR SOMETHING THEY CAN'T HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Update: Received an auto response from the original post from someone named Scott asking me to contact Chipotle directly so they could address the situation. The link was to a site where they apparently wanted me to type in all that stuff again.
Additional update: Went in again on December 14, 2024...a Saturday evening around 7:00 pm...after standing in line for 10 minutes, found they were AGAIN out of onions and peppers. That's the fourth time!!! At least the guy behind the counter was candid enough to admit they'd run out about an hour before, and simply had no more to cook. So whomever is responsible for ordering supplies for the store is clearly not doing...
Read moreI'm not even sure where to begin with this disaster of a dining experience. Chipotle, you've officially taken the crown for "Worst Food Ever" - and that's saying something. I was craving a burrito, so I went in with a hopeful heart and an empty stomach, only to be met with the culinary equivalent of a dumpster fire.
Firstly, the line was longer than the journey to Mordor because customers were not being properly attended to because the staff was on their phones.. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, I finally reached the counter, only to be greeted by a cashier who looked like he was annoyed by me being there. He mumbled the menu options with the enthusiasm of a sloth in a snowstorm, and I swear I saw him roll his eyes when I asked for extra guacamole (which, by the way, was the size of a dime and tasted like sadness).
The "fresh" ingredients were anything but. The lettuce was wilted, the tomatoes tasted like they'd been sunbathing on the asphalt, and the chicken was drier than the Sahara Desert. The rice was bland and sticky, like a glue trap for your taste buds. And don't even get me started on the salsa. It was a lukewarm, watery mess that had all the spice of a wet paper towel.
To add insult to injury, the entire place reeked.I couldn’t tell if it was the restaurant or the bathrooms that hadn’t been cleaned. I'm pretty sure I'm still smelling it now. It's like they're trying to mask the awful taste of their food with a potent, overpowering fragrance of murked toilet.
By the time I finally got my burrito, I was so frustrated I wanted to throw it at the wall. It was a soggy, flavorless abomination that made me question the very fabric of reality. I ate two bites and promptly threw the rest in the trash, where it deserved to be.
Chipotle, you have officially lost a customer for life. You have broken my spirit, shattered my dreams, and left me with a craving for real food that only a thousand tacos can satiate. I recommend you close your doors and re-evaluate your entire business model. And if you're feeling adventurous, maybe try making a burrito that actually tastes good. My grandma said the same thing, so you KNOW I’m telling the truth....

Attempted to go to this location right after my 2 year old daughter was discharged from the hospital. Chipotle is a great place for gluten free options and we eat there often due to my wife’s gluten allergy. Leaving the hospital we saw it was 9 PM and were limited when it came to gluten free options but this location thankfully stated that they were open until 10 PM. On the way, my wife attempted to order online so that the employees saw our order ahead of time but the option was no longer available. Regardless we knew that multiple sources said they were still open so we rush there. Arriving 45 minutes before 10, I parked the car and headed to the door since we saw the young girl at the window talking with a couple of young guys and giving them food. As I walked to the door i saw a couple employees inside and the lights on. I made sure the door said 10 PM for closing and attempted to open the door, but it was confusingly closed 45 minutes early. Employees looked at me at the front and then proceed to continue working. Even more confused I proceeded back to car and still saw the guys at the window talking to the young girl so I decided to call. When I called i noticed that the employees heard the phone but decided to let it ring. After a few more rings, an employee that looked like management walked to the door and made sure their door was locked. I was extremely disappointed. I’ve worked in a kitchen environment for years and currently work in retail. I understand the feeling of working the closing shift and trying to prepare for the morning shift. Never though has the store or kitchen I worked in closed that much earlier than the close time. Regardless of wanting to leave, helping your customers should always be top priority. You never know what is happening in customers lives. This sort of thing is not acceptable and I’m not sure about returning to this establishment after the employees and what appeared to be a manager blatantly ignored all...
