Hibachi Boy — Restaurant in Easley

Ordered the steak and chicken habachi, right after I ordered I drove 6 minuets to pick up the food. When I got inside, I told them my order and it was done. Looking back at this, this should've raised a red flag. The lady was semi nice, but the gentleman behind the counter gave me an unwelcoming glare as if there was a problem. I would've canceled, but i was hungry, and it was suspiciously done, so i'll take it. The food wasn't hot, but warm the steak on the other hand was cold. Not luke warm, not warm. Cold and had a sour taste to the one i tried. I discraded the steak and ate the chicken at least. The chicken was warm. So I know they have prefixed food sitting around, and when they get an order, they fix it with the pre-made food. The shrimp sauce was watered down. I wouldn't go back just because of the gentleman and the quality of the food. And the vegetables are mostly cabbage. With the amount of cabbage you'd think carrots, zucchini and broccoli prices were sky high. Portion of the food was edible. And since I don't want to return to get a nasty glare again, I'll just leave a review. It's has the potential to be a nice little restaurant for ALL, but the guy is clearly not welcoming to black customers at all. Food was about $20 with tip I added (before hand) for the little civility I thought the the lady who took my order showed but regretted that almost immediately after I was done fixing my drink and she was holding a white lady's order looking at me like I was going to snatch that lady's food and run. First time here, ordered online. We ordered the Hibachi Chicken and Hibachi Salmon. The meats were a little dry and over cooked, but they were still good. I was really impressed with the vegetables that came with it. I was not expecting to like the cabbage put it was really good! We also ordered a spicy tuna roll and a shrimp tempura roll. While the rolls were a little disappointing in size and presentation they certainly were not the worst I've ever had and I will order again (they weren't bad, just not as impressive as others I've had elsewhere.) 3 stars for atmosphere because I had a to go order. Service 2 stars. Lady at the register was very rushy with me even though no one was in line or in the restaurant. Food was okay. Food was hot and made very fast. Shrimp sauce is watered down. They only give a half a cup for a hibachi plate. Like I said watered down. The cabbage and zucchini and broccoli was spot on tho.
