Winslett’s has been around for a minute. It’s a family run local business, and they have fresh and local produce. Winslett’s recently moved right next door to a much bigger place. I see that they’re setting up for a deli section in the new building. It’s my go to place for okra. Fresh veggies today were yellow squash, turnip greens, okra, sweet potatoes, cabbage, sweet onions, and mountain grown tomatoes, and green tomatoes. North Carolina Apples, jonagold, Granny Smith, Fuji, Golden Delicious and Arkansas Black. My favorite apples are the honey crisp, the season is gone for them but Winslett’s still has some. Fresh and boiled peanuts are also sold at Winslett’s along with several home made jams, jellies, dressings and relishes. There is also a section for local honey in the store. Just about everything you can find at one of the super markets, they have at Winslett’s, they have home made bread and candies too. They really have it nicely decorated for Fall get your pumpkins right here. You can get fresh Christmas trees here too. If you need plants, flowers, hanging baskets, bedding plants or mulch this is your place. I’m always greeted with a hello and how are you when I walk in, very nice group of people. Come to Easley and visit Winslett’s and get your country store feel on, I’m sure you won’t leave...
Read moreA great small grocery store and landscape supply. I met the founder of Winsletts’s when I was opening a large chain grocery store in Easley. He came up to me and introduced himself and told me to call him Pop. We talked for a while and whenever he was in the store we would always have great conversations. I don’t think he ever met a stranger. You just naturally liked him. Jamie his wife and staff have done an awesome job carrying on the traditions, atmosphere, awesome customer service and quality. They even have cheese, trail bologna and other products from Sugarcreek Ohio. Amish country. We used to have to wait to get these things when we went home or when someone came down to visit.
Jamie and his wife always make it a point to stop and talk a bit.
I always get my mulch from them and they deliver. Every year I get our Christmas tree from them. What an awesome store and staff.
I have no negative experiences with them. They’re an awesome locally owned and operated store with something for everyone. If you’ve never been there you owe it to yourself to go and...

My last visit was on a Saturday, so it was far more crowded than during a weekday visit. It is fun to watch families walking through the pumpkins, posing for pictures with the Fall decorations. It was disappointing to see the kids climbing all over the tractor to jump off, then run around to do it again. Family was getting pictures of them, but then they treated it like a jungle gym. If the tractor gets damaged, they won't be able to leave it out front for everyone to enjoy. They have lots of plants, flowers, garden decor, etc. Helpful staff are available to assist with questions. There is also a deli inside, where you can buy meats and cheeses, and...
