I visited Chickfila 2 times this day. Once was after dropping my daughter off at 4K in morning. My app suggests that I order my usual chicken sandwich combo, which they tell me is available at breakfast (and I've ordered it before). I place the order for chickfila sandwich combo with fruit as the side and lemonade for drink. I also ordered an additional drink. The app, as it did previously when I ordered lunch in morning, tells me that lunch takes additional time to prepare. I pulled into parking lot and parked and told the app I was there, and they say they are preparing my order (it uses gps to locate you to proximity of restaurant). I sit and wait 10 minutes because I played the game on my phone too long and got distracted, but they only said it would be 5 additional minutes. I get in line in drive through, and I go to the window after telling girl doing orders earlier than drive through speaker that I was there, and after waiting in line, I was given my drinks and fruit at the window and asked to pull forward (this was after I was asked by girl at window if I knew I ordered lunch bc it takes 5 extra minutes to cook). I asked where to pull forward to, and then requested she provide me with my straw for my 2nd drink bc there was only one in the bag. She started to question me about the straw like I made it up, and stopped, probably realizing it was a straw and why did it matter. She told me to pull forward near the light pole, which I tried to do, but it is difficult to do in a suburban. The lot is too tight with too much traffic, and cars on both sides were honking at me wanting me to move. I pulled into handicapped spot and waited until it was clear and I could move to a spot visible to the light pole. After 12 minutes, someone brought my sandwich out in a bag. The rest I had eaten waiting. Please start cooking this product earlier when you know someone has ordered it. The app tells them that it takes 5 extra minutes, and this sandwich I waited for didnt seem like it was straight out of the fryer now that I think about it. 5 minutes passed between time I gave my name and time I got to the window at least. Or maybe dont offer lunch at breakfast. Staff need better solution for parking large vehicles to wait for drive through bc if my car had been hit, which I feel could have easily happened, the awkwardness and directions allowed in this parking lot would have been brought to light by my insurance agent.
2nd time was after 4k pick up mostly bc I had reward expiring, and 4 year old didnt like lunch that day. Service and everything was excellent. Girl at window asked me if I'd been there already, to which I rolled window down on 4 yr old in back and stated she wanted nuggets. Today at 5pm I decided to go get dinner for my partner. I ordered a kids meal 5ct nugs, lemonade, ranch, honey mustard, an ice cream cone instead of the kids book and an extra ice cream cone. Once I paid and drove around the corner I received the lemonade, kids meal and an ice cream CUP. I told the guys up front that I order an ice cream CONE for exchange of the kids book along with an extra ice cream CONE. I checked the recipe and noticed that they never even put in that I order an extra ice cream cone and offered to pay. I then looked in my kids meal bag and noticed a fruit cup instead of fries that come with the meal. I then told them that I didn’t order a cup of fruit either and then also asked “does the kids meal ALWAYS come with a cup of fruit” the guy (manger or shift leader) then said “ no you have to ASK for a cup of fruit to receive a cup of fruit” I explained I never asked for a cup of fruit and just wanted my fries. He then told me I owed $4 and something cents (I don’t remember exact change). I then asked “ is that how much an ice cream cone cost?” He said “no that’s how much an ice cream cone AND fries cost” I told him I wouldn’t pay for anything but the ice cream cone because it’s not my fault she gave me a cup of fruit instead of fries. I even offered the cup of ice cream and cup of fruit back to them because it wasn’t what I order or wanted. I then finally got my ice cream in a cone and my extra ice cream in a cone along with my fries. My issue during all of this is that the 2 guy I was talking to seemed so frustrated and didn’t seem to even listen to what I was explaining to them multiple times as clearly as possible. I wish that the first person that took my order would at least pretend to be paying attention to what I was saying instead of looking around and seeming distracted the whole time I told my order because it would have prevented all of this from happening. Read moreThis is a different type of review! To the overweight elderly customer who decided it was okay to rip apart a couple of young chick fila employees: You should be ashamed of yourself. Anyone who acts that way over food, first off should be embarrassed. I assume you do everything perfectly? I assume you have never made a mistake? Maybe instead of eating a chicken sandwich you should touch up on the definition of grace. Chick Fila makes thousands of sandwiches a day, serves thousands of customers a day, and work tirelessly to humbly please their customers. Half of these workers are young highschool kids coming from a long day of exams and peer pressure. Fighting battles just to come fight more. Getting up and doing something with their lives. These employees are mothers and fathers. Grandparents, aunts and uncles. They all have a back story and responsibilities that begin and end their day. No one should have to go into a place of employment that is ran by a percentage of technology which is also imperfect, just to have some angry overweight elderly woman belittle them and yell at them like they were scum of the earth. Mam, you need to crush your Golden calf or in this case, Golden chicken of an idol. Its absolutely despicable to witness how you behaved. And in return they worked their hardest in utmost humility to help correct the mistake and you still stormed off with your fruits in a wadded loom. Do better!
