Really anticipated. Huge let down in my opinion.
The “flame grilled burgers” really aren’t worth the price. The Pattie’s themselves are incredibly salty for some reason, and the food overall left me bloated and sick the rest of the day. Honestly made me really upset as I was looking forward to trying this place.
Staff was pleasant, but the way they prepare the food is a bit disorganized and my girlfriend and I were finding stray pieces of lettuce, onions, and other random condiments on our burgers which we ordered plain. Otherwise, staff is very friendly and helpful.
It seems their ordering system might have an issue with drinks as I saw a few reviews on how drinks were forgotten. We ate inside and as I waited for our two drinks after being handed our tray, they gave us blank stairs when I asked for them.
Overall quality of the food was poor. The burgers were incredibly subpar and didn’t taste fresh as compared to the substantially better offerings in the area (smash burger, five guys, 30 Burgers). Furthermore, the “flame grilled” flavor of the burgers are more reminiscent of Burger King’s whopper than a flame grilled burger I’d make at home or expect from a sit down restaurant. We also asked for our burgers to not be well done, but they came out quite dry and crunchy on the edges. For the price we paid, I’d expect a lot more. Not to mention how salty the burgers were. It seemed to be in spots too. Took my first bite and cringed from the saltiness. I took a second bite on the other side and it wasn’t salty at all. It was a guessing game as to whether my next bite would be alright or way too salty.
The fries were fine. They’re fries so you can’t go wrong with that.
The chicken nuggets were actually really good, which took my by surprise.
Oreo Milkshake is just ok.
Overall, I’m pretty upset as I wanted to like this place so much. Genuinely hope they can up the quality as I want it to be as good as the surrounding places. That being said, I won’t come back until they learn how to cook a burger and not put hockey pucks with a hodgepodge of condiments I didn’t ask for between buns and...
Read moreWe ordered delivery at about 5pm. Ordering through the Habit Burger app was easy but they charge a $4.50 delivery fee. It's serviced through DoorDash. I should've just ordered through DoorDash because I have Dash Pass and the delivery fee would have been waived. The food was just ok, bordering on good. The positives are the onion rings and the tempura green beans. Very crunchy, flavorsome and nice to have a drive thru/fast food option for those items. The chicken bites were very good; and the boom sauce is great. The burgers were.... meh. The meat was pretty flavorless. I know it was there, but did it give me a punch of robust meat flavor? Not really. I did like the shredded lettuce and the pickles though. The real negatives here for me were the buns and the french fries. The french fries weren't crisp. They were stale, like they'd been made about an hour ago. The difference between the french fries and the onion rings (which were obviously freshly made and still hot) was stark. The buns were atrocious. Soggy. Like as if they had been soaked in water. Now I know I ordered delivery, but the food was pretty well packaged and the other items weren't soggy or cold. Also, I've ordered burgers delivered from pretty much every other place and they've never had such soggy, chewy globs of bread masquerading as buns. I can eat pretty much anything, but I had to remove these buns. You know Five Guys? How they cram their burgers into that aluminum foil and you could travel 10-15 minutes with them? They might get soggy too, but they still taste pleasant and have an ok texture. These buns, once soggy, were strange and off-putting in their texture and taste. Apologies, but I won't be coming back for the burgers or sandwiches. If anything, I would come to order the onion rings and the chicken bites were pretty...
Read moreVery rude service! I went to the drive thru, and the young woman taking my order sounded miserable. Very rude tone, kept saying anything else? anything else? I order a burger, the steak sandwich, onion rings, and a shake. When I got to the window, the young woman, I think the same one who took my order, told me my price, I gave her my card, and she handed me back my card, then handed me my bag and let go before i even grabbed it, and it almost fell because of that. Then she closed the window, and I noticed I didn't have my shake yet, but I saw it sitting by the window. She noticed I was still there and opened the window and rudely said "were you waiting on anything else?" and I said "yes, my shake" and she grabbed it and handed it to me then closed the window again without saying anything. At that point I said "it was right there", she opened the window and said "what was that?" and I repeated "it was right there" and she said "yeah well, it wasn't rung up properly, and you probably didn't even pay for it". What kind of a response was that? I ordered it, it was sitting there at the window...... What am I missing here? Anyways, I drove off disgusted, then when I looked at my food, the burger was already opened, and the steak sandwich looked terrible, so I threw everything out. I'm not eating food prepared by people who obviously hate their customers, because who knows if they spit in my burger or not. I spent the money, but the experience made me not want to eat the food. Never going to this place again. What a...
