Costa Oil - 10 Minute Oil Change - Lancaster — Local services in East Lampeter Township

I've been using this place for oil changes for probably 20 years. I don't know if ownership ever changed but they've always been so nice and explained everything to me if they noticed that I needed to replace a filter or something else because they check everything out for you while they're servicing your car. It's really not scamming to let you know if you're driving with an unsafe issue, it would be pretty crappy actually. I'm guessing negative reviewers would try blaming them for not telling them something was wrong if they ignored it and it then they had an accident because of it. I've had so many different vehicles throughout the years, from ford trucks to trans ams, a Volkswagen pasaat, a mustang, a Buick, a Nissan whatever, and never had an issue with using the wrong oil or filter. And honestly my husband could do an oil change at home, but he's not a mechanic. Still, I don't think he'd challenge a licensed professional mechanic or technician because trying it yourself watching YouTube and Google don't compare to the real thing. You wouldn't use the internet to maintain your baby's health at home rather than going to the pediatrician for well baby visits , and it seems like some people's cars are their babies... We moved 50 miles away and still use them because I never found a good service anywhere else. I went to a different place once, and it was well over 100 dollars and my car didn't even make it the 7 miles back to my house. I'm not sure what happened, but I had a puddle of oil under my truck and it was all downhill after that. I was reading some reviews from other people and I think if they have had a bad experience then they are the exception to the norm or just something else. I just got my oil changed there today, and drove all that way back home and no issues. Just the same...

I went there today to use my Groupon for an oil change. As I pulled in I noticed nobody was wearing a mask which is mandated now. The one guy approached my car and I asked him if he would like a mask because I always carry extra. He said no I don’t need a mask. I told them yes you’re supposed to wear masks I told them yes you’re supposed to wear masks. he ignored me and they want about the oil change. I heard another man say “it’s 100° I’m not wearing a mask if you don’t like it don’t come back.” As I was leaving the same man made a comment, I stopped the car and asked him what he said - he ignored me. I open my car door and asked again. He approached my car and started yelling at me. I’m a small woman but when I’m disrespected I’m a pretty good self advocate. He began screaming and told me to get out of here. I’ve never had this type of experience in all my 57 years. I reported them to Groupon, I’ll be contacting Pennzoil, and I will be contacting the state regarding...

I took my vw passat to get an oil change. They put the wrong oil in my car. The guy never told me I needed a certain oil change. price was not an issue. My car was not driveable after that. We called numerous times. My husband called and talked to the owner. The owner said he will get my employees together and see what happened and I will call you back. The owner never called us back. Just blew us off and continue to blow us off. I called and talked to the guy who change my oil and he called me a liar quite a few times.
