Wawa — Restaurant in East Lampeter Township

On 1/31/24 I purchased my regular smoothie and sandwich. The ciabatta sandwich wasn't how I ordered it so I called back to speak with a manager. She said her name was Sam. My reason for calling was the sandwich was purposely messed up. Earlier, I had asked a black guy with dreads or braids in his hair to not touch the food as he was about to, unless you changed gloves. He just returned from upfront after bringing a drink up there. This tall black woman with a net on her afro decided to ask him what I had said. She was the one who not only fixed my sandwich wrong but purposely made it last. Next some black guy name Luis announced my number and sarcastically said thanks. Earlier, he had asked the other customers who were standing around what they were waiting for and pulled their orders for them but not mines. Upon speaking Sam(supervisor) she asked if I wanted a refund when I called or to remake the sandwich but I told her no, I just want her to know what was going on. Tonight 2/1/24 at 8pm I asked the team supervisor to make my order because the same talk black girl was making sandwiches. But, before I said that, when I walked in, Luis was standing there trying to give the tall black girl a signal that I was here. So that's why I told the supervisor to make my sandwich. Afterwards, Luis decided to approach me and give me his name after saying he don't care if I call the manager tomorrow. Then this dark skinned girl(not sure if she Indian or Spanish) with a little ponytail on top her head decided to put her two cents in and tell Luis that you can't please everyone. She doesn't even know what took place so she should be quiet. Luis decided to have a discussion with me and had the audacity to spell his name. I certainly dont want him talking to me. I'm fully educated and don't need assistance with spelling. My reason for writing this to make management aware that you have a problem with these associates. I called and complained and now I'm writing to complain. I don't come into a business and spend money to argue with sandwich makers. I expect them to do what they're paid to do, make the sandwich as ordered. I know it's good to recruit from the Department of Social Services but Wawa should be hiring people that can...

Always have issues at this Wawa, really letting the side down. Today put in a paid in the app food order and waited 15 minutes by the pick up area. After a while I asked if my order was coming and they said ask at the front. I was confused by this as i was stood by the food collection area and it had been paid for so shouldn’t have been at the front.

I went over to the front and there it was, having been sat there the whole time I had been waiting.

The woman on the front was clearly just too lazy to move the 10 feet to the rack because it wasn’t busy at all in store.

How was I as a customer supposed to know that this store hides all the paid mobile orders at the front of the store despite there being a giant rack saying pre paid mobile pickup orders on the other side of the store, which is what every other Wawa on the planet does.

I asked her why it hadn’t been put on the rack and got a response devoid of anything, along the lines of ‘I like to keep them here’ despite that not being what’s meant to happen. No apology or anything. Then some local hick got aggressive with me for asking why I had wasted 15 minutes waiting for my food when it had been ready all that time just hidden and the employee did nothing to cool the situation.

Around 145 pm I went to go use the bathroom I was already here 3 times before on this day and this time I sat my wawa container outside on the recycle bin so no one so no one thinks I just got it inside and I was in there for a minute and a half I come back my container is gone I looked all around even in the cans that were underneath it wasn't there tho there the trash person had to of seen me put it there I was there several other times that day I ask them inside did anyone know where it went? Amd they like trash guy must of gotten it and they refused to tell me who the trash guy was but told me to get another lemonade if I wanted threatened to call the cops if I didn't get a lemonade amd leave or just leave even tho I was in the right someone saw me didn't like that i was there so many times and ran out and made my drink dissapear I mean I'd of taken the lemonade bit I got irritated when you get an attitude tell me I shouldn't of sat it there and threaten to call cops if I don't take a new one or leave? So u threaten to call the cops because one employee thought it be funny to make my drink dissapear then threaten me when I try to find it...
