Disappointed with the service and lack of accountability

I’ve been coming to this jewelry store whenever I visit my mom in Lansing, and we’ve purchased from them before including a ring about three months ago. When I returned to my hometown, I noticed the stone on my ring was loose. Naturally, I brought it back when i came to visit my mom 3.5 months after to the same store hoping they could either repair it properly or exchange it for the same style in good condition.

Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The staff wasn’t helpful at all. They tried to tighten the stone manually right there, but it wasn’t a proper fix. When I explained that I had purchased it from them and expected better assistance, the person helping me seemed uninterested and told me there wasn’t anything they could do.

I’ve always supported local businesses, but this visit completely changed my impression. Sadly, I won’t be returning or recommending this...

As far as hidden treasures go, this is exactly the place you're looking for when it comes to jewelry. The owner is welcoming, and will even tend to your wounds. Big cuts or little, although they are obviously more prepared for little cuts.
