Here’s a list of what they don’t have Combination plates is any sort Korean corn cheese Korean chicken wings in reasonable portion.. they only had it 15 pieces not 6-8
This place feels like it was very much tailored to its location didn’t taste like Korean bbq at all. Waitress said she’s coming back with the 5 side dishes and put 3-4 pieces of kimchi and Two pieces of broccoli mind you two people are eating that are paying around 70 dollars in meat.. she tells us that it also comes with lettuce wraps… she brought out (2) wraps…. Our dirty and unwanted dishes stayed on our table the entire duration of our stay. We kept singling to ask for more stuff because it legit looked like portions given to someone to sample. I’m not trying to sound like a a** but honestly. Didn’t come with the steamed egg or the miso soup with tufo (which wasn’t included which every place I’ve been to has it) also the rice is purple with beans in it wasn’t pleasant at all. There was also one worker taking care of 6 other tables that had around 4-6 people in it and she looked very stressed please hire more workers she looked so overwhelmed. Make new menu iteams make more portions instead of having your waiters n waitresses run back n fourth back to back. Every time she checked the table it was because we asked for more items and each time the collection of plates just grew and grew we organized them and put them on the end of the table so it’ll be easier for her to take it. She didn’t…… I won’t be coming back I was bored didn’t enjoy my cooking experience because it felt so out of place idk if your looking for authentic kbbq with actual portions that are not SAMPLE PORTIONS go...
Read moreI visited BAPS Home Style Korean BBQ Cuisine for the first time last week and I was very impressed by the quality and variety of the food. The restaurant is located in a convenient spot near the MSU campus and has a cozy and modern interior. The service was friendly and attentive, and the portions were generous. I ordered the spicy pork belly and kimchi tofu stew and spicy chicken wing, which came with a grill on the table and a selection of side dishes, such as kimchi, bean sprouts, macaroni salad, and black beans. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the side dishes complemented it well. I especially liked the kimchi, which had a nice balance of spice and sourness. It came with spicy wow it’s spicy which is great. For dessert, I tried the bingsu, which is a shaved ice dish with fruit and ice cream. It was a refreshing and satisfying way to end the meal. The shaved ice was light and fluffy, and the fruit was fresh and sweet. The ice cream was creamy and delicious, and I loved the combination of flavors. Overall, I had a great experience at BAPS Home Style Korean BBQ Cuisine and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Korean food or wants to try something new. The restaurant offers authentic homestyle Korean dishes at reasonable prices, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I can’t wait to go back and try more of...
Read moreAs an avid kbbq lover, I would suggest that you stay away from this place. First off, I would like to mention that the interior design and atmosphere was superb and extremely well-lit. But, starting with the server, after she seated us down, it went downhill from there. My partner and I went in at 7:40 and was seated right away. However, she did not bother to come back until 7:57. Now, there were absolutely no other customers besides the two of us and another table that they weren't even serving. The fact that they are this negligent shows just how much they don't value customer service. Secondly, the food did not taste well for those high prices. I've been to all-you-can-eat kbbqs for $20 and had better meat cuts and more variety than the bull--- they serve here. Their yukgaejang was very tasty, but could have been a little spicier. Anyways, point blank: go somewhere else. Travel if you must! Great places to go to for kbbq in MI are: Novi (K-pot), Grand Rapids (King Pot), or Detroit (Daebak) for a better kbbq experience. This place is a waste of money and their...
