Update after 2 months: I appreciate the response from Verizon to this review, professional and attentive. Last December we had to buy a phone and line almost in a hurry, so spouse wanted to come to this place because was more convenient for the short drive, well, casually we were attended by the same person of the last incident, and I have to say the bad and must say the good, I don't know if he remembered me, or not, but his attention was very positive, helpful and professional. Thank you for changing my mind, and also I can understand that we all can have a not perfect day sometimes.
Original review November 2022: The attention at this place has always being pleasant, but thanks to an unpleasant attention I got to learn how to transfer my SIM card and data to the new phone I bought somewhere else. Came three times in the process of changing to a new phone, being. Verizon customer for some years, my line is prepaid and the first advice was to go and buy a phone at Walmart because I could get there better deal and variety, well, thanks, I did!
Then came back with my new phone and a gentleman told me that I will charged $30 for the service of transferring the data and all, my comment was that never in the 3 times was it mentioned (I know it is not for free .. nothing is!), But the kind attitude changed and it was no more a good customer service, to the point I didn't want to keep talking to the person and preferred in my mind another agent, asked for a better way to be approached and was told that I have been treated as he treated all the customers, well, sorry but I don't like that, did say it, then his position was to end it there .
It was the best it could happen! I went home and I informed myself about how to do this change , Verizon online gives excellent information about how to, and once a YouTuber explained how to extract and install the SIM, I was on my way to accomplish the task. At the end, I saved ME $30, I got to learn something new and got this feeling, of "I won't set a foot in a Verizon office again".
Thank you to the gentleman that lost his happy cool when disagreements arose with a customer, it was not the money for me, at the moment I was uniform and not approached correctly to do business with me.

My wife was having issues with her phone in July and we went into the Verizon store in East Liverpool OH to see what could be done. They said they were running a promotion that would allow us to send in our phones to get full credit towards new phones. I specifically asked the sales person if this was going to change my contract in any way. He said it wouldn’t extend the length of my contract and it would allow us to exchange our Note 10’s for the S22’s. Now, I come to find out that it did indeed change my contract because now I cannot leave Verizon for three years or I will have to pay full price for each of the phones. So basically, I did not get anything for my phones that I exchanged and I am unable to change to another carrier for three years. Read moreWe went in to switch from T-Mobile and Sam was SO helpful and amazing. He checked coverage for us as that was our main issue. He was so great with our daughter as well. She is 4 and sits sort of well but he was patient and made conversation with her.
He explained all the activation fees and other charges that our first bill would have and told us how long it would be for bill credits. He informed us of the taxes as well and gave us an estimate of what the first bill would be so we weren't blind sided. A lot of customers get angry being blind sided by all the things Sam I formed us of.
He helped us with the promotions so we got the most from switching. He was the best rep I have had at a big company phone store an I have tried them all, even Verizon.
