Goodwill Calcutta — Local services in East Liverpool

This place needs to have more respect and courtesy for shoppers, I was in this place on 9/14/2019 around 3pm and the lady that was working the register at that time was waiting on a customer and I was next, I wanted to see a GPS that was in a case in the glass display case there at the front of the store, I asked if she could get it so I can look at it after she was done checking out the person in front of me, so I waited over by the glass display case that was only 10 feet from the register and 2 other people got in the check out line and right when she was done checking out the customer that was in front of me, she skipped me and waited on the next person that was in the checkout line, so I decided to wait hoping she will come over to get the GPS out of the case for me to look at, nope she waits on the next person in the checkout line, but glances over at me standing by the glass display case, so I said ok and left, very, very...

Who the hell sets the prices here?! I (regrettably) donated a walmart lamp that was probably from year 2007 and they put $15 for the base alone!!! They not only overpriced it, they separated the shade from the base to get paid twice from the 1 lamp. I should've just threw the damn thing away. I also asked if they could come down on the price of an item that was priced way higher than it would be even at an antique store and they refused. I was told the person who prices items looks up what things "go for online" 🙄 You are not an antique store, goodwill. You are getting this stuff for free! Plus this is a poor area! Quit...

Omg! That is literally the only thing I can say. This goodwill is THE most expensive thrift store I've ever been to. It is shameful the prices they are charging. Example, there's a 5 piece kitchen canister set that was $60. Everything else was just as bad. This stuff is donated!

What upsets me is that Goodwill is supposed to support low income families. They can't afford to shop here anymore. And if these prices are in response to people who buy to resell, that is also a shame because these people are just trying to make money for their families.

I would not recommend this "thrift"...
