Looking at the website, my friends and I were very happy to see the "Double Ts" promotion which was listed at $14 a lane for two hours of unlimited bowling. We actually chose to go here out of every other bowling alley because of this promotion and in an effort to save money because we are all in college. Upon arrival, we go to the front desk to find out that it is actually $24 PER PERSON for 2 hours of bowling and a pair of shoes. After some discussion with the employees, they came to the conclusion that "the owner doesn't like to focus on the website that much," which was absolutely jaw dropping to me considering the website holds all of the necessary information for a customer like me. After a long discussion with my peers, we all decided to pay the price anyways, because we already made the 30 minute trip to the place. After a couple games, we got hungry and thirsty so we ordered food and drinks, just to be denied water cups. So, we bought some water bottles from the vending machines as a substitute. After about 10 minutes after purchasing the bottles, one of the employees walks up to our group and asks to check our water bottles for alcohol, you know, because 8 college kids can't have fun without it (according to him apparently). Well, that allegation was wrong, as my whole party was sober throughout the night. So, the employee unscrews the caps off of all the bottles and proceeds to sniff the content of the bottles, which is absolutely disgusting because he was wearing no mask, and we are in a pandemic. After his evaluation, he realized that we didn't have alcohol in the bottles and then he proceeded to leave us alone for the rest of the night. At the end of the day, yes I had a great time bowling with my friends. But, the customer service at this establishment was atrocious and I don't think I will be...
Read moreNot the greatest experience but I haven't been there in 2 years since before Covid. It's not like it used to be, the hours have changed from 7am-1am when it used to be 24 hours and the bowling experience is very different. My family used to do the Midnight bowling with the led lights and the music videos on the big scren projectors, it was a vibe. It's actually NO FUN anymore. Its more for the pro bowlers now. Used to be able to buy pitchers of beer at the Steppy's window but now you can't. So many new rules and things you can't do. There are police officers posted at the front entrance for safety thats nice but it seems like it puts the workers on edge and they seem uncomfortable. Its not inviting. I asked for a cup of water from the Steppy's window and they sent me to a public water fountain with a Dixie cup smh. You can even have water but I can by alcohol smh. Everything has changed I assume because of the shooting that happened but now everyone has to suffer now because of someone else's bad decision. Just not like it used to be and it's sad. We will probably start going to Arnold's or Limerick to bowl and have a good time because their...
Read moreSo this was my first time coming here with my friends & let me say this will be my last time. Now this place isn’t a necessarily dirty place but the management is down right horrible. I’m an African American just so you know , and the way they treated my friends and I over a misunderstanding on THIER behalf and had the right to not only have lack of understanding or compassion but they treated us like this was1932 and we weren’t “supposed to be here “ the restaurant Manager and one of his “Karen” employee got extremely disrespectful and put hands in our face and cut us off when we were speaking all because again of a misunderstanding on THEIR behalf. So they won’t have to worry about me or my friends coming back. I’m more than sure they’d rather have people of the same color buy their non-seasoned food and with attitude. If I could rate this place out of 10.. let’s just say they are lucky they don’t give out...
