I had been debating microblading and lash line enhancement for a while and on the recommendation of a friend I made a consult appointment with Marisa. From the moment I walked in I could tell this was going to be a positive experience. Marisa took the time to explain the various types of microblading, made recommendations and we discussed in detail what I was looking for and more importantly the look I didn’t want. She provided a super easy skin regime to get my skin prepped. (Gotta stay off the vitamin c serums and retinol based products and use gentle cleansers/moisturizers). I wasn’t sure what to expect from tattooing both on my brows and my eye lids and I was pleasantly surprised at the discomfort level. It was minimal. My experience at Trucco Skin was amazing. Marisa is a true artist who was not only skillful and professional, but also compassionate and caring. She explained the entire process to me and encouraged questions, and was extremely personable. I booked an appointment with Trucco Skin after a horrific PMU experience with poorly trained esthetician. The esthetician from the other place, if I can even call her that, messed up my makeup so terribly that it had looked like a toddler did the job. The ladies at Trucco Skin were able to fit me in for an emergency saline removal even though they were booked for over a week in advance. This shows that they truly care about the client and about providing quality care. I went for the emergency saline removal with Marisa. She made a typically painful process as comfortable as possible and did an excellent job removing the botched makeup. The ink is 100% gone and my skin is almost fully healed before the two week mark. I had a bad microblading experience from another business and Rosetta at Trucco skin is currently helping me fix it. The person before Trucco skin used shaped my brows way too thick and uneven. They also used real tattoo ink, not cosmetic ink, so it is a long process to remove unfortunately. They also used a dark grey ash color that does not match my brows at all. Rosetta educated me on how the microblading experience should be- what cosmetic ink should be used, choosing the right colors for your skin tone, and how the shape should be based on your real brows. She has made me feel so comfortable and confident that this can be fixed and it is already so much better than before. I have had 3 brow tattoo removal so far with Rosetta and each time, it looks better. I am so excited to see the final result when we can finally redo the microblading.
