Verizon — Local services in Easton

Buyer Beware! Part 2 - The "owner," see below, submitted an apology and asked that I call the two numbers provided for restitution. The first number, the Easton store that sent me on my way with "package deal," that had no service in my area and no refund for their misinformation; the second number, I received choices from menu 1) enter extension of party you wish to reach: "Owner" left no extension - 2) the operator - "operator unavailable at this time." I've been calling for 2 days and 3) leave a message. Reply: "Mailbox full."

Buyer beware! Brendan led me to believe there was internet and TV service in my area. That if I purchased package/bundle deal of Cell, internet and TVFios I would get discounted rates on all three. In truth, there was no internet service nor TV-FiOS in my area. And my Verizon phone would now cost $100 mo. (vs bundle deal of $65). With no refund of my payment to set up...

I really prefer not to leave reviews, but in this case I felt it needed to be said. I had a simple request - I installed a new SIM card, and everything worked fine except voice calls. I was told, very directly, that I needed to buy a new phone, and there was nothing they could do to help me. No one asked to see my phone, just asked what kind it was and said that it’s old, and it won’t work anymore. I know it’s not the latest, but my phone is not that old. This experience was in sharp contrast to the outstanding tech I got when I called Verizon directly. She could not have been nicer or more helpful. And yes, she also fixed my problem. It wasn’t even difficult! I’m sorry, most bad customer experiences I just shrug off, but this one was really unsettling considering I have been a Verizon...

I have to say that the customer service at this store is off the charts. I wish I had gone to this store to purchase my phone. I believe the gentleman who helped me is named John and his reviews of the phones we discussed was very thorough. He helped me with activating my Verizon phone that was purchased elsewhere but gave me the same time and consideration needed to remedy the problem. Other Verizon stores in the area turned me off to dealing with an in-store experience but I should have tested one more and gone to Wireless Zone.
