Ulta Beauty — Local services in Easton

Ulta in Easton is a relatively new store (I was moving to the area as the store was just being put together, right in the middle of the pandemic in 2020), and I thought that it wouldn't have a vast array of products due to how small this county is. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the store, the wide range of products (everything from drugstore to high-end cosmetics to amazing Dyson hair styling products), and the very kind employees. I used to work at an Ulta as a professional makeup artist and product rep for Lancome Paris, and I would work at a store like this one again without a doubt! It's clean, the hours are reasonable (Baltimore hours vs. Easton hours are so different - I'm still getting used to things closing at 8 pm, not 10 or 11 pm!), and again, the products are top-notch. There's something to fit every budget, and products to suit beginning makeup artists to professional makeup artists. I can't say anything about the salon, as I haven't tried that during the pandemic, but it looks clean and relatively spacious. I can't see problems with it, and I did watch someone have a hair cut/style once while I was in the store, and she ended up with a very nice style. I highly recommend this store and am glad there is a well-stocked Ulta in the Talbot...

Shout out to Maven for taking a ton of time with me this past weekend to help me. I’ve struggled for years with oily skin and rosacea. My makeup ALWAYS seems to melt onto my oily skin (especially my nose) and reveal my red rosacea-ridden skin within 2-3 hours of application. Maven took the time to ask about the products I use and what I’ve tried in the past and she recommended an oil control primer and setting spray for me. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t too confident it would work since I have tried SO many products (we aren’t local and I’ve already tried other suggestions from my local makeup stores), but Maven put my worries at ease when she told me I could return them (need to be 50% full) if they don’t work. I was very pleased with my visit here. I have very sensitive skin and now have rosacea as well. Used to be oily, now I'm dry... so I needed help updating my skin care! The first lady that approached me was not able to help me, but fetched another well trained associate who helped me very well! The products she recommended were spot on, exactly what I needed. Everyone in the store was very pleasant, wore a smile, and was eager to help - but not over eager to where it's annoying. There was a wide variety of products! From skin care, to make up... bath products, hair care, and more. Within those categories you had the choice of less expensive to high end. I highly recommend...
