Warhammer — Local services in Easton

The store was well stocked, clean, and on par with other Warhammer stores I've been to. The employee was absolutely awful. He made me feel as if I was taking up his time when I asked if he could show me a 9th edition game having not played one before. He was short with me and rude several times when I asked questions making sure to emphasize that "I didn't know my army" in his words. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars on GW and Forgeworld products and this experience really made me rethink having anything to do with this hobby by the time I left the store. I went to Portals Games the next day and the experience there was amazing. They were very polite, and it was a much more welcoming experience. They told me they have been hearing similar complaints about the Warhammer store. If I decide to continue to spend money on GW products Portals will be receiving...

I have attempted to buy some models at Warhammer in Easton four separate times. Three attempts including my most recent one they have been closed well after when they supposedly open at 11am. Only once have I even got inside the store only for the cashier to tell me she was locked out of the register and after a 15 minute call with her boss she said "sorry you'll have to come back another time". Today was my final attempt and after missing last year's anniversary I wanted to make sure I'd be there for this one to get the exclusive minis but they were closed once again. This store is great!!! Used to be into the hobby and building/painting miniatures as a kid, but had been out of practice for quite some time. The manager Ryan was super helpful and friendly, showing me the different models/paints they have, and even took time to teach me everything from how the games are played, to modeling and painting tips and tricks.
