They have so many people behind the counter that they have too much time to talk to each other and aren't aware of their customers and what's actually going on around them. We did an online order, where we went inside to pick it up. Right when we got out of our vehicles, we clicked that we were here to pick up our food, so we went inside and rushed to the bathroom because we're on a road trip. There was no waiting in the restroom and zipped right back out to get our food, but there was a line. We we're not aware that they have a pick up food shelf that your food is placed on when it's done. Maybe a worker should have greeted us and asked why we were there or pointed out that shelf to us. Nobody ever greeted us to asked us what we were waiting on! We waited close to 15 minutes before we finally noticed where our food was sitting and the drinks were melted and the food was cold. There was a large lady sitting and blocking that food area shelf. She was the first in line and upset because her food wasn't ready because she never pressed here on the app which wasn't our problem and she blocked our food but again she doesn't work there! The workers were so busy talking to each other and looking around, but not really looking at anybody. Why don't you try making eye contact with customers that have been standing there for 15 minutes. Finally my child pointed it out and I went and got our food and left. Normally I get excellent service at Chick-fil-A and we were just passing through and now I know that I have to help them do their job. I have worked in fast food and I've had less employees and got more done. They need to step it up and invest in the customers not in chatting with each other. I’ve eaten chik fila all over the United States so I can say with confidence I’m familiar with how a chikfila works and it’s customer service. I’m very disappointed with my visit to chik fila in Easton. Usually when we make that final decision to eat something not healthy and lower our moral standard based on “fast “ food and the convenience of it. My review is a 1 star and it’s more a customer service base. I’m apologize for being so harsh on my rating but I believe it’s deserved. I pull up to chik fila per usual getting my order I usually get, but this time I had my car full with people waiting at home and a puppy in the car. Very politely I asked for a little help hoping they would throw out a garbage cup so I could make space for the food/ beverages I had purchased. I couldn’t walk in the store because again I have a puppy in the car and he tends to chew on leather, I’m driving a Mercedes SUV let me Add, and obviously no dogs inside. All this being said I asked the employee if there’s a trash can outside so I can properly dispose of my garbage vs the rest of the Maryland crowd whom would happily litter everywhere at the first sign of no garbage can. Read moreToday I went to Chick-fil-A with the hopes to enjoy a spicy chicken sandwich on my way home. I placed my order, received my sandwich, opened it and noticed it was like warm. Mind you I asked for cheese to be added. If the sandwich is warm the way it's supposed to be, the cheese will automatically melt. I called and explained my concern and asked to receive a fresh sandwich. Fresh meaning freshly cooked and hot! I received the "corrected" sandwich. And asked the employee if he wanted the cold sandwich in return , he stated no. Now mind you when I expressed my concerns about my lukewarm sandwich and that my cheese wasn't melted the employee said to me that the cheese wouldn't be melted. I stated if the cheese is put on a sandwich where the chicken is warm enough it will naturally melt, basically a natural reaction to heat, which the sandwich didn't have. My "corrected" sandwich was not fresh at all! It literally was like the previous sandwich that I had an issue with. When I called again I asked for a refund, this time they wanted both sandwiches back 🤷🏾. I simply told them you can have them, no one is looking for anything free at all.
