I literally was ignored for about 15 minutes waiting for help in the ink section and I don’t want to believe it was because I was a beautiful black woman but I do believe that was the case. I was in line, returning ink, I asked the manager who was over riding my return, what brand would be a wise choice for a home printer used for school work and he replied reluctantly, the HP has good ink delivery options so off to the ink section I went ready to browse and buy a good fit.
After waiting for help for Ten minutes, I returned to the cashier to ask if someone was available to assist me in the ink section, she announced for the third time, customer needs assistance in the ink section and the same manager walked over to the ink section ignoring me as he looked at ink on the wall then and the fourth time the announcement was made like he didn’t see me standing by the printers I had just asked him about with this blank look on my face that screamed, “really?”.
Yet as I was leaving he gladly says have a good day? He sees me leaving but he didn’t see me the two times I stood beside him waiting for help in the ink section when he came over faking like he was looking at ink on the wall?
I was the only person in the ink section might I add.
Sad case... I don’t beg no one for their business, I’ll gladly spend my money...

She said we will be right with you then asked another associate to help then people started getting in line And they continue and proceeded to help all the people in line before they stopped and help me which took about 10 minutes mind you I had just paid $50 in printing and photocopying and I was about to go ahead and buy school supplies and spend money here and buy a new printer from this location. I will not be spending my money at Staples anymore And I will be telling each and every person about this location and their racial profiling every other individual in that store, even the people helping out or not of African-American descent, they were either Hispanic or Asian descent, and the customers were that as such to make a customer who have been standing their first weight and I only have one return when they helped the lady who had over 30 packages which is why I went to printing first is ridiculous. Read moreThe person who helped me when I picked up my item was very kind. However, the item that I received seemed as if it was damaged. When I called I got a person who was argumentative with me about my situation and seemed as if they were making excuses for the person who made the mistake. While I understand making mistakes when it is only one item I’m purchasing you would think you would check the item. Really disappointed. Not to mention I did pick up but there was no way for me to let them know I was there within the staples app. Which isn’t the stores fault but I had to go inside to get my item. I’m frustrated because now if I want my item replaced which I needed asap now they want me to drive back and return it. The apology the lady gave me wasn’t sincere whatsoever.
