Super upsetting. My first time ever going to Blaze Pizza. Pulled up with my husband to try it for the first time. Arrived at 10:38PM. Sunday May 27, 2018. I informed my server it was my first time. At first she was nice to assist me and guide me on how to order. So I chose my crust. She then asked me what sauce, I went with the regular. There was not any left upfront so she went to the back to bring fresh sauce. She struggled to put it down. She then proceeded with the cheese. I asked for mozzarella and Parmesan. She added the cheese to my pizza. Next we moved on to the meats. I asked for Bacon and Ham. Next thing I knew she was throwing chicken in to my pizza. I turned to her and asked "did you just put chicken? I didn't ask for chicken." She then turned to me and said she was sorry. She offered to make me a new one. I said it was fine I accepted the apology and did request for a new one. By this time she seemed upset and bugged. There were a few customers whom had arrived after me. She commenced making my new pizza. I saw as she threw the cheese. I noticed she skipped Parmesan so I politely brought it up to her attention and said,"you missed the Parmesan" she looked up and totally ignored me. Out of nowhere she starts tossing CHICKEN onto my pizza AGAIN. The whole reason she offered to make me a new pizza was because she tossed chicken when it was never requested. So I once again informed her I NEVER asked for chicken. She was so rude and responded, "that's why I asked" woh sarcasm. I repeated to her I never asked for chicken. She was upset, not my fault she couldn't get my order right. I understand no one is perfect. I wasn't upset she was getting my order wrong. I was upset at the fact she was providing terrible customer service. Long story short I ended up walking out due to how rude she was. I will be speaking to management about it. I was super upset I did not get the girls name. Wish I had. I wrote down time and day I was there and have a clear...
Read morePlaced a family meal, once I picked it up I went to grab the boxes of pizza off the counter the “Manager” Jack not sure if that’s his name. He reached for the boxes not allowing me to get my pizzas because he was waiting for the salad to come out. I simply wanted to check my pizzas, after that it made me think something was wrong with my pizza. It was! When he grabbed my salad from another employee, he was even being rude to her, he put my salad on top of my pizza as I’m reaching out for him to hand it to me he turns and places then on the rack. He was being petty at this point for no reason. I check my pizza, I’m missing toppings and very little of other toppings was given. He was rude right off the bat, I asked about the olive oil drizzle he point to the grease of the pizza stating that’s the olive drizzle. Clearly you know when there’s olive oil ON the pizza there was non. He simply could have put some on. Asked if he can remake them, he was upset and told another employee to remake them as she starts he tells her to cancel the pizzas and tells me to leave and he will give me a refund. He must have had a bad day, that still doesn’t excuse the treatment I received especially since he says he’s a “Manager”. Even a customer came up to me stating I was calm the whole encounter. That she would have went off on him. That’s coming from a customer who witness the whole encounter. Jack ( if that’s even his name) was very rude when the problem could have been fixed easily. I’ll take my business to a different blaze! After the whole encounter we had to eat our pizzas cold after spending almost $50. Took place between...
Read moreChanging to one star because the standards of this establishment have obviously decreased since opening. Most employees are well mannered and friendly but some have managed to slip through the cracks. After seeing a few health code violations in the last few visits I would recommend for the manager to review safe food-handling practices before the business gets reported and fined for said violations. That or get rid of the individuals who have snuck into the company and do not follow rules on safe food handling. Seeing what transpired today caused me to cancel my pizza order.
The male Hispanic who was on the line with ear and face piercings got a spoon rinsed it in the handwashing sink and proceeded to mix sauces on pizza in front of mine. He didn't change his gloves while doing this and didn't even dry the spoon. That sink is supposed to be used for employees to wash thier hands when entering the kitchen from elsewhere or when they are about to handle food. That includes coming from the restroom or cleaning the dining area. Both areas contain many bacteria which could cause foodborne ilnesses such as e-coli from the restroom. The fact that he didn't even change his gloves also means that every pizza or spoon or anything that he handles will also be contaminated.
Its unacceptable, and it's not right.
One way another something...
