My husband and I have been trying to find the right furnishings for our newly renovated house for quite some time. We have gone to a few furniture stores in our area (Valdosta/Thomasville GA) and found a couple of key pieces but still had quite a bit we needed to purchase but I wasnât having much luck finding the right person to help me bring it all together. The spaces we are trying to furnish have some unique challenges so we needed and wanted someone with knowledge and expertise who could help us do it the right way, and we found her at Weinbergerâs Furniture in Greensboro, GA on July 4th.
My husband went online and found that store, not knowing anything about it, and we decided thatâs what we were going to do for the 4th. It was a 3 1/2 hour drive for us but it was worth it.
Sandra is the designer we worked with and she was literally an answer to prayer. She listened and looked at the pictures, paint and fabric samples we brought with us and went to work to help us pull it all together. We spent almost 6 hours with her that day (she even skipped her lunch even though we kept telling her to take a breakâŚshe wouldnât). We love everything she pulled together and canât wait for it to be delivered. The store is a good size, well furnished and full of quality brands and we felt the prices were reasonable and appropriate for what youâre getting.
We look forward to working with her and them in the future for our furniture needsâŚeven though they are 3+ hours away. It was well...
Read moreI am leaving this review before receiving my furniture, so I can only speak for my the front end of my experience with this store. I cannot say enough Wonderful things about my experience so far with Weinbergers! From the moment I walked in the door I felt incredibly comfortable. I was greeted immediately, but did not feel pressured by the wonderful saleswoman who helped me. It was the perfect balance of letting me walk around yet being there to help me with any questions. After I left the store, Yolande, was quick to respond to questions I had via text message, which was so helpful, because I live an hour away. Although I live in Atlanta, I will drive back to Lake Oconee to give more business to these wonderful people. Shopping for furniture has been trying and exhausting to say the least, but this experience was pleasant and dare I say fun! I may have been able to find a store closer or possibly less expensive, but remember that you get what you pay for and that is not only quality of the furniture, itâs the quality of the people they employ. Oh, also a shout out to Tammy who was fun and helpful on a day when Yolande was not working. Thank you both...
Read moreThe customer service here is the worst itâs ever been. I came in with my wife during the tent sale and got completely ignored. We watched while multiple sales associates ran by us and didnât even look in our direction. We at one point tried to speak to a younger woman and she looked right at us and walked away, she apparently was too busy to help us. Another time we tried to ask for help another young lady ignored us again! Also I understand that wearing T-shirtâs during a tent sale is appropriate but you shouldnât be able to see someone behind when they bend over because theyâre shorts donât cover everything. On another note we went over to the outlet and it was a complete 180. We immediately were greeted at the door and we didnât have to beg for assistance. We ended up buying a great bedroom suit from a young lady that was amazing. She never left our sides and she was so knowledgeable on every piece we asked her about, I donât think the smile ever left her face and that made us feel so great about buying from her. If you want great prices and customer service go to the outlet and not...
