The Children's Place — Local services in Eau Claire

I went in 07/22/25 @ 17:58 to get my toddler a tshirt since it was hot out. As I was looking through The toddler T-shirts towards the back I picked up a shirt and was ready to buy it, but then in line, I realized that it was a longsleeve so I ran back to get a short sleeve. It was obviously not noticeable if the T-shirts in the spot I was looking were long or short because you had to open up the shirt to notice it that wasn’t even the problem as I was looking I believe it was the manager had asked me on her way towards The back if I needed help with anything, but she didn’t ask this in a nice way I kind of felt like she was being a little offensive. I wasn’t able to get her name. All I know is that she was an American older woman. I then said no I think I’m ok. I hadn’t noticed that some of these were long sleeve then she began to say look at these ones. It’s pretty clear. These ones are six dollars. These ones are five dollars and so on when that wasn’t even my issue I knew the price and I didn’t care about the price. I was just trying to find a short sleeve and she said I don’t know how you’re getting confused! It’s all clear and walks away. I felt so uncomfortable. The girl at the register made my experience much more better as I paid but employees like the older woman make being a mom and shopping...

The clothes are really cute, but fit small and long on both of our children. The 3T clothes on our 2 1/2 year old stop halfway down her hand, but don't cover her belly button and are super tight around her chest and shoulders. Same with the pants.
