I originally went in about a month ago to get a haircut absolutely love the staff everybody was super friendly and my haircut looked amazing I decided that this is a salon I wanted to go to for color. Not your basic everyday color I wanted to extravagant bright red I sent pictures in and the appointment was set by the time my hair was done it was not a bright red at all it was more of a dark brown and in the sunlight you can see the glimmer of red now I know and understand that not all hair takes to color the same way so I called rescheduled for another hair appointment once again staff was super friendly and my hair stylist was more than happy to redo my hair she decided that pudding highlights would help bring out a better red that I was trying to achieve. I'm not a highlight type of person I like one solid color but I was open to the suggestion and did so I waited a few days to wash and dry my hair but unfortunately the color did not stick I still had blonde streaks from the highlights once again I was unhappy and a little frustrated because I know dying my hair 3 times within 3 weeks is never a good scenario but I also couldn't live with what I had. I had called the salon told in the story and booked another appointment. I was contacted by the owner 2 days after that that's where the conversation didn't go exactly as planned he pretty much told me that he was not comfortable with doing my hair and that he would rather give me a refund, this is the part that frustrates me because when I originally sent in the picture if it wasn't doable then it shouldn't have been arranged for me to come in in the first place I also mentioned that I would probably need some kind of deep conditioner treatment and he was more than happy to send me with product to do it at home I absolutely appreciate that. I feel like the second time I went in Maybe the owner should have done my hair himself or at least looked it over and evaluated the situation but that was never done I am now going to another salon that says this is an easy fix and it's unfortunate that they just didn't fix it themselves at flagship I agree with that but I also didn't want to push it because the owner said he was uncomfortable. It's never a good feeling to hear an owner of the salon say he's uncomfortable with doing your hair after my hair is been colored twice with the results never turning out correctly like I said before the staffer super amazing and super friendly it's just unfortunate that what I wanted was not what I received and the solution to that was a refund and conditioner that will help rejuvenate my hair after it's been dyed multiple times...

Flagship is the best salon in Eden Prairie. The salon itself has an open, airy, welcoming feel, and the staff are uniformly helpful and friendly. My stylist, Jill Miller, earns a 5 star rating all on her own.

When I started going to Jill about 2 years ago, I had been switching salons about every 9-12 months, unable to find anyone who understood how to make my fine, wavy hair look decent, beyond keeping it short and adding blond highlights. Jill, on the other hand, knew immediately how to handle my hair. During our first consultation, we talked about what I was looking for and what was and wasn’t realistic for my hair type. She also had great recommendations for color and style.

Today, my hair is 6 inches longer, healthier than it’s been in years, and I’m so happy with the cut, which showcases my natural waves. Plus, I constantly receive compliments on the color, which is the result of a customized mix Jill created for my hair.

Jill is an outstanding stylist AND a supportive, caring person. I cannot recommend her...

Jill is AMAZING! I was super nervous to get my hair touched by anyone else besides my mom(ex-hairdresser), but I wanted something that my mom wasn’t comfortable doing so I decided to book an appointment with Jill, and oh boy was that SUCH a good decision. If you ever want anything done with your hair but your nervous about the not getting something you like, or something you didn’t ask for.. please just go to Jill. Even if it’s not possible to do what exactly you want in that same day she will make it look amazing and you’ll love it regardless. She makes sure you walk out of the salon looking like a Queen:) I’m telling you guys, she does amazing work!
