I’ve been going to MV for about 30 years. In need of a new bathing suit, I knew this would be the place! It wasn’t, not anymore. They had zero men’s bathing suits in the store.

What was once a charming, bargain beach shop offering anything you were looking for has turned into a charmless, predominately women’s clothing thrift store. If you’re a woman that enjoys thrift shopping for discounted name brands, this might be worth the stop. For anyone else, especially if you’re looking for men’s clothing, it’s a waste time. Man I don’t even have the words to describe this store. It’s a nightmare of stuff packed inside, but I was in search of a backpack to carry things for a day trip and a blanket to sit on the beach and Trader Fred’s had both. They’re probably the lowest quality things I’ve ever owned but they got the job done for the day and at a reasonable price.

This place is a junk store....in a good way. They have lots and lots of clothing of all shapes, sizes, and brands. Good prices. Be on the lookout and make sure all zippers work and no imperfections that you can't live with. It's difficult to return. Also, I have found expired sunscreen so look closely before you purchase.
