Once upon a time, I got engaged and bought the dress of my dreams. Then covid happened and my fiance and I had to cancel our big day. For over a year we just kept hoping we'd get a chance to reschedule... finally we did! But: oh no! Silly me (the bride) gained too much weight for the aforementioned dress of my dreams to be altered. In a panic, I googled 'bridal salons near me' & I made a few appointments. One was a complete disaster with an awful attendant. My next appointment was with Hollie.

Holy. freaking. cow. Miss Hollie knocked it out of the freaking park. She arrived on time, set up the most awesome little showroom in my mother's living room. She brought with her four gorgeous, spectacular, amazing dresses from bridal designers such as Pronovias, Hayley Paige, & Edith Elan (an ethically made in America bridal designer)- not to mention trays of accessories to try on with the dress- and of course her amazing personality. She made me feel totally at ease and helped me to process my feelings from the disaster appointment with the other company I had visited the day before. Hollie created such a fun, private shopping trip with my mom. She even brought me a little gift and surprised us with a cute bottle of bubbles after I said "yes" to the dress. I can't say enough nice things about this amazing experience. I think her business is so amazing and will put a lot of brides who might be self conscious about trying on dresses in a big store totally at ease- and perhaps those who are unsure of venturing out to a bunch of salons because of covid. I was so so nervous that I wouldn't find a flattering dress in such a short timespan but I contacted Hollie on Tuesday, she called me right away and got background info and scheduled an appointment on Saturday with sample gowns for me to purchase off-the-rack. Customer service in the bridal dress industry is so very important and Hollie just... killed it. She's great. Everyone should go to her. You're going to feel exactly as I did!...

Hollie B. Is absolutely amazing!! I was blessed enough to meet her at a bridal expo and from the moment she said hello I knew that I just had to have her help me bring my bridal dream to life! After talking with her for a little bit at the expo and over the phone, she was able to pull amazing dresses that made me feel beautiful and magical! I have always been a curvier and top-heavy woman, so I was always nervous about shopping for a wedding dress and not being able to find things that made me feel beautiful, comfortable and that were in budget. Hollie, make sure to ask me what styles I like, and what styles I was not interested in. Hollie B picked dresses that not only fit my body, but fit my personality, my vision for my wedding and my pockets!

I was very nervous about shopping for wedding dresses since my mother passed 10 years ago, and not having her there to support me and help me make this decision gave me such anxiety. But Hollie was kind and understanding of all my emotions and feelings. She made me feel comfortable and really helped me feel the presence of my mother in that moment. Hollie is absolutely amazing!!! She deserves all the stars. I was anxious going in to the appointment as my first dress appointment (somewhere else) was a bad experience. Hollie's warm welcome made all of my anxiety go away. She took the time to get to know me, my preferences and concerns before pulling dresses. Hollie could tell how I was feeling about a dress before I did. It matters to her how each dress makes you feel. She asks very thoughtful questions about each dress to determine what direction to go with for the next one. I was pretty sure the 3rd dress I tried on was "the one", Hollie had me continue to try on dresses that challenged that one until I was 100% sure. Hollie helped me complete my look with one of her beautiful hair pieces. We also talked about jewelry that would compliment the dress. For an anxious bride, her follow up email with other vendors, seamstress and her favorite undergarment brands was the chef's kiss to the whole experience.
