Poor. I went to a location off of Expressway 83 in McAllen Texas. I asked if there was someone who does tailoring or alterations when you buy a suit from them. I was informed that I needed to go to the store off of Highway 281 and Trenton and Edinburg Texas period a little inconvenient but I said okay and proceeded to that location. I went in I asked if the person that does alterations or Tailoring on suits is available. The staff member that I asked repeated the words alteration & tailoring as if he did not know what I was talking about. I went on and found a suit, slacks and a shirt and tie and proceeded to the checkout. Everything was run up and I filled out my check. The same staff member could not process my check. He tried several times and I was starting to get a little upset. I asked him what seem to be the problem he said oh it's because we can't take your check. I asked him you can't take my check I paid with check here before can I please speak to the manager. The manager came to the register and could hardly speak any English his accent was very heavy I was wondering why a company like Burlington's would have someone in charge of the store that can barely speak any English. Still not a problem as I do speak Spanish. He proceeded to tell me and a broken accent that the store no longer can take checks. It's not posted at the front door nor is it posted at any of the registers. I completed my purchase using my debit card. Overall my experience was very poor very disappointing. It seems the staff of Burlington's Coat Factory is not informed as to what's going on. And short the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. This is the second suit that I bought from Burlington's and based on this experience...
Read moreIn that store there is a manager who is very rude to me. I am a buyer who goes to that store very often and she refers to me very rudely when I have never disrespected her. I am just another buyer who spends several thousand Dollars weekly in that store everyone is very friendly except that employee named Aracely Neri I feel very harassed by her she talks bad about me with the work staff and with the people who are shopping around in the store and I see how when I walk away from my car shopping she goes and looks at what I'm carrying as if she were going to steal something she tells the workers not to let me grab anything and the other people if as if she had something personal with me when I don't even know her I'm just a shopper more about that store, I could change stores without a problem, but why do I have to stop going to my favorite store because of people like her? I love everything about that store except that person's treatment of me. He has terrible service and customer service. customer she does not behave like a worker and I see how she has been rude to other customers she speaks with a rude voice and no one, not even me, deserves bad service in my house, I'm just going to buy not to cause any conflict with anyone but with those types of workers You can't buy comfort because they are only checking what you do and that makes me very uncomfortable...
Read moreI recently visited Burlington with my daughter for a father-daughter day, just to look around and get out of the heat. While there, I went to the restroom where a man and woman were working on one of the stalls. The woman told me it was fine to go ahead and use it, so I did.
Another customer came in after me and went straight to the urinal. At that point, the man doing repairs said it actually wasn’t OK because they could be liable while working. The customer was already in the middle of using the restroom and basically said, “Well, I gotta go now.”That’s when the situation escalated unnecessarily. The woman, who had just given me permission, suddenly changed her stance and told us it wasn’t allowed. Then she even threatened to call the cops on the other customer who was simply using the urinal. If she was a manager, her behavior was extremely unprofessional. If she wasn’t, Burlington needs to address how these maintenance employees are interacting with customers immediately.
The other worker was also rude, and overall the customer service I experienced during this visit was beyond unacceptable. What should have been a simple, positive father-daughter outing turned into a very uncomfortable situation. Burlington really needs to train their staff better on how to handle interactions...
