THE BOY AND THE LADY MANAGER ARE RUDE AND SCAMMERS NEVER TRUST THEM THEY ARE DISHONEST PEOPLE..... We were frequent customers, we'd have our group dinner gatherings there. A month ago we decided we wanted to have our family reunion dinner there for a party of 33 people. The boy and his mother the manager said yes we could reserve the back room, but we needed to leave a deposit of $100, if we cancelled we'd forfeit the deposit, and if we kept our reservation the deposit would be credited to our bill. We paid the deposit, he gave us our receipt, the boy marked it on the calendar behind the register. Then on the morning of our Reunion reserved date, I called the resturant to confirm our reservation. The boy answered and assured me our reservation would be ready. Come 5:00 pm we arrive with our party, 1ST LIE-the boy tells my grand daughter that they have no reservation for us. Then I arrived a few minutes after and asked him about our reservation and 2ND LIE-he said somebody had called the day before to cancel the reservation. When I had just confirmed our reservation with him that same morning. Then 3RD LIE-he said that he had thought the reservation was for 6:00pm and that's why our tables were not ready. I him asked to check his calendar for our reservation, 4TH LIE-he said they didn't have a calendar. I looked behind the register and sure enough the calendar had been removed. I then showed him our deposit receipt for our reservation and he rudely said we'd have to wait till his staff was done waiting on other customers, (which were only two parties of two couples). We had our dinner, the wait staff and food have always been great. When I went to pay the bill, I showed him our deposit receipt so he could deduct it from our bill and 5TH LIE-the boy said the deposit was only for the reservation. WOW! He said he called his mom the manager and that she confirmed the same about our deposit only being for the reservation. The wait staff said they've had several issues like this before with other customers. The wait staff were always very kind and they were disappointed when we said we would no longer return. The food and service has always been great, TO THE STAFF (WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOYALTY AND KINDNESS) BUT THE MANAGEMENT'S DISHONESTY IS WHAT LEAD ME TO WRITE THIS REVIEW AND WILL KEEP OUR FAMILY FROM...
Read moreFirst the good: the food was very good. I was staying at a hotel next door and there weren't many options in walking distance so decided to try. I called and ordered to go. I ordered the Moonlight plate, which had 2 cheese enchiladas (very good, red sauce was very mild but tasty, yellow cheese, cooked well), two chicken flautas (good pieces of chicken and not greasy or overfried), rice (very good red rice, and 2 sopes. Good amount of food for the price. Cute little family feel. The only reason I am taking off a star is because of the guy at the front, when he was at the front anyway. I entered and stood at the desk for several minutes before anyone came. There was a waiter in a red dress shirt busily attending to all the tables. Finally a guy in a t-shirt and ball cap comes, doesn't really greet me, but I tell him I'm here to pick up. He is talking on the phone with his airpods it seems the whole time. Then he answers the restaurant phone and talks on that, too. Nothing to me, like " excuse me one moment, etc". He goes and gets my food, then gives me the receipt to sign. Then leaves to the back without saying anything at all. Who does that? I left a tip because I always do (probably shouldn't have) but then noticed I didn't get a fork or napkin. I wait a while for the hat guy to come back. Finally I go up to the table area where the busy waiter sees me and asks me what I need. He goes right away to get me silverware and says thank you have a good night, very nice. He was great, the other guy was horrible. That is not a way to treat customers. I felt ignored and like I was bothering him and interrupting his phone calls. I did like the...
Read moreWorst dinning experience of my life! Took my mom out for breakfast and we had 3 pancakes with our order. 2 out of the 3 were burt beyond recognition and were not edible. She let our waiter know and he returned shortly and said he let the manager know. When we got the total from the cashier, I questioned as to why we were being charged full price for pancakes that were burt. He said, did you tell your waiter and we said yes. Cashier then says, " I'm gonna help you guys out this time." I ask how he was helping us out if the food was burt? He responded with, "Well, you ate the pancakes." We said that we didn't and this guy literally goes to our table to see if the pancakes were there. This tattooed, ghetto, Edgar looking MaleFigure was actually questioning our integrity! He comes back and repeats, "I'll help you guts out, but only this time." I asked again, "How are you helping us out if the food was burned??? He said that we should've requested new pancakes and that it was our fault. I'm no expert in the world of "fine" dinning, but the waiter and/or the manager should've been the one to offer new pancakes. Then he goes on to repeat that we in fact ate the pancakes. I then went to our table and pulled out the charcoal looking food and showed him that they were still there. He saw one of them and said, "Well there's a piece missing there." I told him, "Yeah, that's the piece my mom sampled and then decided it wasn't edible." After that exchange, my mom and I left the place. This was the 1st and definitely the last time I will...
