Ordered Valentine's Day flowers for my wife a week in advance. I wanted to be guaranteed the flowers would be delivered first thing in the morning. When Sergio took my order he assured me they would be delivered in the morning, before 12:00 p.m. I payed the requested 25 dollar delivery fee. $242.44 later I felt a bit uneasy as to how many people he had promised morning deliveries too. He bragged about how he had 10 drivers for Valentine's day and how this wasn't the flower shop's first heavy holiday. My fears were materialized on Valentine's day. Rosie's Flower Shop did not deliver till 3:30p.m. 1 hour before my wife clocked out. What's even sadder was that her place of work was receiving flowers and deliveries by 7:20 in the morning. I confronted Sergio about my issue. The first time I spoke to him it appeared he hung up on me. He later clarified his cordless phone went dead. The second time I spoke to him he quickly took down my contact info and told me he would get back to me tomorrow on what happened to my delivery. Sergio said he had to track down the driver and get an explanation. All I wanted was an apology and a reimbursement for my delivery fee. He never got back to me the following day. I called for a 3rd time the following Monday for an update, but Sergio gave me the same run around. He just pretended to take my information down and said he would get back to me, he never did. What's even more disappointing is that Rosie's has been my go to flower shop for the past 3 years. A week later my mother in law passed away. Again I needed a florist but I could not bring myself to buy or even recommend Rosie's Flower Shop. My advise to potential customers is never buy from Rosie's Flower Shop and Sergio on a holiday. Save your purchases for birthdays and anniversaries. They will fill you with false promises to take your money. They have become victims of their own success. I almost never leave a review but depend on them for all of my searches so it's important to start leaving reviews from my experiences that might help someone else. I live in Houston and was randomly searching for a flower shop that might be able to deliver some grand flowers to a loved one who recently passed. I read a few reviews from Rosie's Flower Shop and selected it hoping it would turn out great. Great is exactly what I received from the moment I rang the phone. Sergio answered and I explained exactly what I wanted and he assured me he would be able to make it. I hung up called back with all the details and a young lady named Amy I believe answered, gave her more details and you know what, we were provided pics of what they made for us and it was stunning. They listened to what we wanted and made it happen. Delivery was exceptional, communication was beyond what we expected and the final product was just amazing. If your not sure if you wanted to use Rosie's Flower Shop, please give them a try. If I can do it all the way from Houston, you can. I called a previous business owner whom I done business with not long ago. I asked him who he recommended for a floral arrangement. My friend strongly recommended Flower Shack of Edinburg by all means. I needed to purchase a floral spray for a funeral service the following day. I went to Flower Shack and Christina attended me and was willing to show me what she had available. She also said that if I didn't see what I was looking for, Flower Shack would try to satisfy me by making an arrangement like I was looking for. I was asked to look over their catalog and I saw the casket spray I was looking for. Christina even told me that if there was anything they could do to enhance the arrangement, they were happy to do so. I picked my color of roses and the size of the floral spray. Christina took care of contacting the funeral home in Weslaco and got together with them as when they could deliver the arrangement . Everything was done and Christina texted me a picture of the floral spray that was to be delivered.
